Navi Mumbai: In a move that perfectly blends shopping with charging—both for cars and wallets—Tesla has officially launched India’s first in-mall charging station at Nexus Seawoods Mall in Navi Mumbai. And yes, your car can now recharge faster than you can finish your coffee (or resist a sale).
Located in the B1 parking area, the new facility features a total of eight chargers, including four high-speed V4 Superchargers capable of delivering up to 250 kW DC charging, and four Destination Chargers offering 11 kW AC charging. Whether you’re in a hurry or planning a leisurely mall stroll, Tesla seems to have both moods covered.

This latest addition builds on Tesla’s growing charging footprint in India, following installations in Gurugram, Delhi, and Mumbai. With this, Tesla now operates four charging stations nationwide, housing 20 Superchargers and 14 Destination Chargers—slowly but surely stitching together India’s EV charging map.
The highlight, of course, remains Tesla’s signature Supercharging capability. A Model Y can gain up to 275 km of range in just 15 minutes—roughly the time it takes to decide whether you really need that extra pair of sneakers. The experience remains as simple as Tesla promises: “Plug In, Charge and Go,” backed by an impressive 99.95% uptime.
Tesla’s app ecosystem continues to play a key role in enhancing convenience. Owners can locate chargers, monitor real-time availability, precondition the battery for optimal charging speeds, and even handle payments seamlessly—all without breaking a sweat (unlike Mumbai traffic).
Adding to the buzz, Tesla has also set up a pop-up store in the mall’s main atrium. Visitors can explore Tesla’s lineup through guided walkarounds, immersive displays, and even test drives—because window shopping just got electrified.
Priced from ₹59.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the Model Y is now available in India with Tesla’s promise of a seamless ownership experience, including home charging support.
With this launch, Tesla is not just installing chargers—it’s quietly turning everyday destinations into EV pit stops. Because in India, if your car can charge while you shop, you might just end up spending more time (and money) at the mall than planned.
