Goa: At India Energy Week 2026, Jio-bp pulled off a rather unusual flex — it launched a petrol that doesn’t just burn inside your engine, but also cleans it. Yes, petrol that doubles up as an engine spa therapist.
Branded as petrol with Active Technology, the new fuel promises to actively remove existing deposits from critical engine parts, restore lost performance and help Indian motorists drive up to 100 km more every year, all at no extra cost. The Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, visited the Jio-bp stall at the event, where the company showcased how the new fuel goes beyond traditional “engine protection” to actual engine clean-up in real time.
