MG Makes History as First EV Brand to Partner Incredible India, Takes Windsor Pro on 3,000 km Southern Journey

Gurugram: In a move that blends tourism, technology and torque-without-the-noise, JSW MG Motor India has become the first electric vehicle brand to officially partner with Incredible India, under the Ministry of Tourism. The collaboration marks the launch of Season 2 of its EV travel documentary series, Watt’s In The Wild—this time starring the all-electric MG Windsor Pro.

The new season embarks on a 3,000-kilometre southern odyssey, rolling quietly from royal heritage zones to coastal belts, proving that electric mobility doesn’t just belong to city traffic jams and mall charging points—it also thrives amid forests, farms, temples, and tidal breezes.

A Road Trip Where the Only Thing Louder Than the Scenery Is the Message

Season 2 traces a culturally rich route across southern India, celebrating heritage, conservation, and community wisdom. From palace towns and hill forests to spice plantations, fishing villages and backwater economies, the MG Windsor Pro plays the role of a silent storyteller—gliding through landscapes without disturbing either wildlife or Wi-Fi signals.

Shot with cinematic finesse by creative partner Ride The Route, the series positions the Windsor Pro not as a hero car chasing sunsets, but as a quiet enabler of India’s living traditions—a reminder that sustainability works best when it simply fits into real life.

And yes, the journey also normalises something many Indians still question on road trips: EV charging in the wild. Turns out, electrons travel just fine beyond city limits.

From Himalayan Heights to Coastal Calm

Season 2 builds on the success of Watt’s In The Wild – Season 1, which made headlines for taking the MG ZS EV all the way to Dirang Valley in the Himalayas. If the first season answered “Can an EV climb this?”, the second calmly asks, “Can an EV belong everywhere?”—and then proceeds to answer it over 3,000 kilometres.

Tourism, Technology & a Touch of Torque

By partnering with Incredible India, MG isn’t just promoting a car—it’s backing a narrative where electric mobility becomes part of India’s tourism story, supported by a government-backed platform that reaches both travellers and policymakers alike.

Episodes from Watt’s In The Wild – Season 2 are currently rolling out on MG’s official Instagram channels, inviting viewers to rethink road trips, range anxiety, and the idea that sustainability has to be boring.
