Bengaluru: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has hit the accelerator once again, clocking total sales of 33,752 units in November 2025 — a spirited 28% year-on-year rise that proves even Japanese precision enjoys a bit of festive rhythm in India. Of this, 30,085 units were sold domestically, while 3,667 units took the scenic route to overseas markets.
According to Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President – Sales, Service & Used Car Business at TKM, “Following a positive festive season supported by the government’s progressive GST reforms, we continue to witness strong momentum. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition and Fortuner Leader Edition have been warmly received across the country.”
In other words, the Hyryder is helping city drivers feel sporty and sensible, while the Fortuner Leader Edition is reminding everyone who’s really in charge of the fast lane.
🎌 When Drums Meet Drive
November wasn’t just about numbers; it was also about rhythm. Toyota turned heads with the Drum Tao India Tour — Japan’s famed performance troupe and Toyota’s global brand ambassadors — who brought thunderous beats to 14 Indian cities, proving that a Toyota event can now make more noise than a diesel SUV in a tunnel.
From Chennai to Shillong and Delhi to Jaipur, audiences have been captivated by the performances. The tour wraps up in Bangalore on December 21, and anyone who wants to feel the pulse of Indo-Japanese harmony (or just see drums hit harder than quarterly targets) can register via Toyota Bharat.
🏯 The TEMple of Experience
Toyota also opened the doors to something truly unique — the Toyota Experiential Museum (tem) in Bengaluru on November 23. Think of it as a cross between a tech exhibit, a Zen retreat, and a café that serves authentic Japanese matcha instead of your regular chai.
The museum’s three zones — immersive experience rooms, a curated merchandise store, and a serene café — promise to blend Japanese design minimalism with Indian philosophical warmth. Visitors can book their own meditative-meets-motorized journey at temindia.com or on BookMyShow.
