Gurugram: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has wrapped up November on a high note, clocking total sales of 66,840 units, marking a 9.1% year-on-year growth. Clearly, Santa came early for Hyundai dealers.
Out of the total, 50,340 units found homes in India — a 4.3% YoY rise — while 16,500 units headed for export markets, a solid 26.9% growth, proving once again that India isn’t just a big car market, it’s a car factory the world keeps coming back to.
Speaking about the performance, Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director & COO, HMIL, said, “Supported by GST 2.0 reforms, we continue to carry forward sales momentum… and our commitment to bolstering India’s role as a global manufacturing hub is further solidified.” Translation: India’s assembly lines are busier than Delhi traffic at 6 p.m.
But the real showstopper was the all-new Hyundai Venue — the brand’s first software-defined vehicle (SDV) in India — which has clocked over 32,000 bookings in just a month. Packed with ccNC infotainment powered by NVIDIA, it seems even compact SUVs now need GPUs to keep up with memes, maps, and music.
With a futuristic design, tech-laden cabin, and Hyundai’s SUV-heavy portfolio firing on all cylinders, November was less about “winter slowdown” and more about “winter speedrun.”
