Bengaluru:
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported total sales of 31,091 units in September 2025 — and if that number feels like a convoy on a festive expressway, it’s because GST 2.0 and early Navratri cheer have together given Toyota’s sales a powerful push.
Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President – Sales, Service & Used Car Business, said with evident festive optimism,
“Thanks to the landmark GST reforms by the Government of India and the onset of the festive season, market sentiments have been upbeat. At TKM, we have passed on the full benefits of GST to our customers, which has further boosted demand across our portfolio. With the festive season gathering momentum, we are confident of a strong performance ahead. Right now, our foremost priority is to ensure timely deliveries so that customers can celebrate the festivities in their favourite Toyota, making this season truly special.”
🚗 Key Highlights that Shifted Toyota into Festive Overdrive
- Safety Gets Standard: The new Rumion now comes with six airbags standard across all variants. Toyota’s way of saying — festive joy should come with a side of safety.
- GST Gains Passed On: TKM reduced prices across its range, making popular models like the Innova Hycross and Fortuner feel a little lighter on the wallet (and heavier on festive bookings).
- Drums of Performance: Toyota struck a cultural chord by teaming up with Japan’s globally renowned DRUM TAO, appointing the group as brand ambassadors — blending Japanese precision with festive Indian rhythm.
With GST reform working like a turbocharger and early-season demand revving up, Toyota is clearly aiming for a high-octane Q4. The company’s focus now is on timely deliveries, ensuring no customer’s Dussehra or Diwali gets delayed at the dealership.
