Invicto Scores a “Star-studded” Safety Record — Maruti Suzuki’s Premium Hybrid SUV Shines with 5-Star Bharat NCAP Rating

New Delhi: In a move that blends muscle with mindfulness, Maruti Suzuki’s premium Strong Hybrid UV, Invicto, has secured a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP). The three-row hybrid has not only flexed its structural strength but also tightened its safety belt to join Maruti Suzuki’s elite 5-star line-up alongside the All-New Dzire and Victoris.

🚘 Safety Goes Full Hybrid

The Invicto isn’t just a premium people mover — it’s practically a mobile fortress. Under the NEXA Safety Shield, the vehicle packs in:

  • 6 airbags as standard (Front, Side & Curtain)
  • ESP® with Hill Hold Assist
  • 3-point ELR seatbelts for all occupants
  • Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold
  • ABS with EBD & All Disc Brakes
  • ISOFIX child seat anchors
  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
  • 360-degree camera with dynamic guidelines
  • Suzuki Connect with e-Call functionality for emergency situations

In other words, it’s like travelling with a personal bodyguard squad, minus the dark sunglasses.

🧍‍♂️ Leadership Speaks — and It’s All About Safety

Hisashi Takeuchi, MD & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said,

“Safety has always been at the heart of Maruti Suzuki’s product philosophy. We are honoured to receive the prestigious 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP assessment for our premium Strong Hybrid UV, Invicto. Bharat NCAP has ushered world-class testing protocols in India, empowering customers to make informed choices.”

He also highlighted that 15 models across 157 variants now come with 6 airbags as standard — from the humble Alto K10 to the adventure-ready Jimny — proving that safety isn’t reserved only for the top trims.

🌟 Raising the Bar for Bharat

With Invicto’s achievement, Maruti Suzuki reinforces its strategy of marrying comfort, innovation, and uncompromised safety. Whether it’s navigating urban jungles or cruising on highways, this hybrid isn’t just saving fuel — it’s saving lives.
