Honda Elevate Dresses Up for Festive Season: Ivory, Black, and a Grille That Means Business

New Delhi: Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), the country’s trusted purveyor of petrol-powered civility, has unveiled a festive season update for its crowd-pleasing SUV, the Honda Elevate. And this year, the upgrades are less about horsepower and more about house-proud upholstery, grille gymnastics, and a colour palette that could rival your rangoli plans.

The Ivory Tower of ZX

The top-end ZX grade now rolls out with opulent Ivory interiors—ivory leatherette seats, ivory inserts on the dashboard, and enough ivory touches to make you feel like you’ve stepped into a five-star hotel lobby. For those who think the existing grille wasn’t alpha enough, Honda has introduced the Alpha-Bold Plus Grille as an option, making sure your Elevate’s nose is as commanding as your neighbour’s festive playlist. Price? A cool ₹15,51,000 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

V and VX Join the Party

The V and VX grades are ditching their old Shadow Beige for new black fabric upholstery, jazzed up with ivory inserts. It’s the automotive equivalent of swapping out last year’s sofa covers for brand-new ones before the relatives arrive. Customers can also bolt on the Alpha-Bold Plus Grille, because why should only ZX owners have all the grille-grandeur fun? Prices start at ₹12,39,000 and ₹14,13,700 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

Black is the New Black

For those who like their SUVs as dark as their humour, the Black Edition comes in two avatars:

  • Black Edition with tasteful chrome and silver accents (think sharp tuxedo with cufflinks).
  • Signature Black Edition, where everything is blacked out and the Alpha-Bold Plus Grille comes standard—perfect for those who believe chrome is just too mainstream.

Both editions feature full black leatherette interiors with stitching, soft-touch pads, and the kind of mood lighting (7-colour rhythmic ambient) that might just tempt you into hosting a rave inside your SUV.

Crystal Clear Choices

To top it off, Honda has added a Crystal Black Pearl paint option to the V, VX, and ZX trims, ensuring that your Elevate is always dressed for the red carpet—or at least the neighbourhood Diwali fair.

Honda’s Pitch

Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, HCIL, said:

“The Honda Elevate is already a blockbuster, but during the festive season, customers want more choices—and sometimes more grille. With these new interiors, colours, and editions, we are rolling out a full buffet of options. Consider it our way of saying, ‘Festive greetings, but make it premium.’”

Under the Hood & Behind the Safety Curtain

While the interiors are playing dress-up, the Elevate still relies on its trusty 1.5L i-VTEC engine, available with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT. Safety features include Honda SENSING ADAS, 6 airbags, LaneWatch™, Vehicle Stability Assist, and enough acronyms to keep tech-savvy uncles impressed at family gatherings.

Festive Takeaway

With a bold design, multiple interior moods (Brown, Ivory, Black), and blacked-out editions for those who like their SUVs like their coffee—strong and without sugar—the Honda Elevate looks well-equipped to charm festive buyers. Plus, that Alpha-Bold Plus Grille is proof that Honda is ready to go head-to-head with Diwali crackers in the “look at me” department.
