Gurugram: JSW MG Motor India is having a very good monsoon – and it’s raining numbers. The company clocked its highest-ever monthly sales of 2025, moving 6,678 units off showroom floors in July. That’s a year-on-year jump of 46% compared to July 2024’s 4,575 units, proving that MG’s charm is not just limited to British nostalgia but also Indian driveways.
But MG wasn’t content with just selling more cars; it decided to stretch the luxury envelope as well. Under its newly minted luxury channel, MG Select, the company introduced two headline-grabbing models: the MG M9 Presidential Limousine and the MG Cyberster. The M9, priced at ₹69.90 lakh, looks like it was built to carry heads of state—or at least anyone who wants to feel like one while being stuck in Gurgaon traffic.
Meanwhile, the MG Cyberster, the world’s fastest MG (₹74.99 lakh), takes MG’s old-school “Morris Garages” roots and straps them to a jetpack. Designed to blur the line between sports car fantasy and EV reality, it will be available exclusively at MG Select Experience Centres, where luxury apparently comes with a side of theatre.
Speaking on the performance, the company highlighted that these launches mark a new phase for MG in India—one where mass-market SUVs share the portfolio with limousine opulence and hyper-roadster adrenaline.
For now, MG Motor India has every reason to smile: sales charts are climbing, new luxury products are rolling, and even the rain gods seem to be on their side. After all, it’s not every month a brand manages to sell thousands of SUVs and casually introduce a presidential limo and a rocket disguised as a convertible.
