London – Isuzu UK has officially unplugged the suspense and revealed the pricing for its all-new D-Max EV, sending a jolt through the commercial vehicle world. Starting at £59,995/INR 69.77 lakh CVOTR (excluding VAT), this isn’t just another electric vehicle—it’s the first fully electric 1-tonne payload, 3.5-tonne towing, 4×4 pick-up in all of Europe. And yes, it still looks like it drinks diesel for breakfast.
After its high-voltage debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2025 in Birmingham, the D-Max EV is now production-ready and heading to the UK in two electrifying flavours: the eDL40 and eV-Cross—names that sound like they’re ready to headline Glastonbury or join a boy band. Underneath their muscular bodies lies a 140kW dual-motor setup powered by a 66.9kWh battery, meaning this pick-up doesn’t just do torque—it does instant torque.

For the traditionalists out there who still think EVs are made of tofu and tears, fear not. The D-Max EV maintains Isuzu’s legendary workhorse DNA, now with a battery pack where the fuel tank used to be. It’s rugged, ready, and responsibly silent. In fact, the only noise you’ll hear is the quiet sobbing of fossil fuel as another icon goes electric.
Colour options include everything from Splash White (because puddles are inevitable) to the sultry Biarritz Blue Metallic and the exclusive Dolomite White Pearl for those who like their work trucks with a dash of James Bond flair. And yes, EV-specific blue accents are included—because nothing says “I care about the planet” like a subtle glow of cobalt trim.
Neil Scott, National Sales Manager at Isuzu UK, summed it up:
“There’s nothing else like it in the market today that combines zero-emission driving with full commercial capability. It’s work-ready, fleet-friendly, and future-proofed—with the added bonus that your local wildlife won’t hear you coming.”
Pre-sales will commence later this year, with the first arrivals landing on UK soil by February 2026. Deliveries are expected from March 2026—just in time to haul springtime compost with zero tailpipe guilt.
So whether you’re towing tools or saving turtles, the D-Max EV is here to prove that electric workhorses don’t whine—they whirr.
