Pankaj Tripathi Turns Car Shopping into a Blockbuster with Hyundai India’s New Campaign

Gurugram: When it comes to choosing between heartfelt desires and irresistible discounts, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) suggests—why not both? Launching its newest campaign, titled ‘Listen to your Dil or the Deals. You will bring home a Hyundai!’, the brand has enlisted the unmatched charm of actor Pankaj Tripathi to deliver this message with the perfect dose of wit, warmth, and wheel appeal.

Set in a delightfully nosy neighborhood, the campaign film sees Pankaj Tripathi, in his signature deadpan style, sweetly roasting his neighbor while flaunting the tech-laden features of his Hyundai Exter. “Touchscreen hai? Wireless charging toh hoga? Kam se kam deal toh achhi mili hogi?” he asks, as his neighbor slowly begins to realize that buying a Hyundai might have saved more than just face at the next building society meeting.

Virat Khullar, Vertical Head, Marketing at HMIL, elaborated, “This campaign is more than just a fun jingle and Pankajji’s delightful banter. It’s about planting the Hyundai seed early in the consumer’s mind—well before the festive rush kicks in. Because when you blend India’s favorite actor with India’s trusted carmaker, magic is bound to happen—on screen and in showrooms.”

The campaign is as expansive as Pankaj’s acting range. It will roll out across TV, print, digital, and radio, making sure that no living room, mobile screen, or FM station is left untouched. To make the message universally endearing, the TVC has been dubbed in seven regional languages—so your acha lag gaya moment can happen in Tamil, Marathi, or Telugu too.

Whether it’s your dil nudging you toward sleek design, or the deal pulling you in with jaw-dropping offers this June, Hyundai wants you to know—it’s not a dilemma, it’s a done deal. And if Pankaj Tripathi says so, who are we to argue?

So this June, follow your heart, or follow the offer. Either way, odds are—you’ll end up bringing home a Hyundai.
