Hyundai India’s Hatch Gets a Hat Tip: i20 ‘Magna Executive’ Rolls Out with Class, Sass, and a Sunroof Pass

Gurugram: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is back at it — not just making cars, but upgrading your lifestyle — with the launch of the all-new i20 Magna Executive variant at a snazzy starting price of ₹7,50,900 (ex-showroom). Designed to delight aspirational hatchback buyers who want more Magna for their moolah, this latest addition is equal parts business and pleasure.

Not only does it come with 6 airbags, ESC, VSM, and a badge that subtly whispers “I’ve arrived”, but it now gets Hyundai’s much-loved iVT transmission, letting you coast through city chaos with executive smoothness — coffee in one hand, confidence in the other (hands still on the wheel though, obviously).

And the icing on this four-wheeled cupcake? A Smart Electric Sunroof — so your car can breathe a little while you enjoy your mid-commute tan.

In a bid to bring more bang to the dash, Hyundai is now offering a 25.55 cm touchscreen infotainment system (with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) for just ₹14,999 — that’s less than a fancy date night — and it even includes a rear camera and a 3-year warranty. So yes, your car will be smarter than your TV.

But wait, there’s more: the i20 Sportz (O) variant now plays your soundtrack through a Bose Premium 7-speaker system, because why should sedans have all the symphonic fun? Add to that a smart key with push-button start, and you’ve got a car that practically high-fives you every time you get in.

Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and COO at Hyundai Motor India, summed it up best: “The i20 has always set benchmarks, and with these new updates, we’re putting premium features within arm’s (and wallet’s) reach of our young, style-savvy customers. It’s all about democratizing luxury — with the occasional sunroof.”

With over 1.4 million happy customers in its rear-view mirror, the Hyundai i20 isn’t just a car — it’s a passport to premium. Now with extra tech, extra style, and just enough swagger to make your neighbour jealous.

Because when life gives you traffic, roll down your sunroof and play your Bose.
