Škoda Auto India’s debut sub-4-metre SUV takes the market by storm with a 43-day, 70-city tour designed to captivate audiences nationwide.
Mumbai – Škoda Auto India’s latest offering, the Kylaq, has shattered expectations by securing over 10,000 bookings within just 10 days of its pre-launch campaign. This milestone cements its position as a game-changer in the fiercely competitive Indian sub-4-metre SUV segment. To build on this overwhelming response, Škoda is rolling out an ambitious 43-day ‘India Dream Tour’ to bring the Kylaq closer to potential customers across the country.
Starting December 13, 2024, three Kylaq SUVs will embark on separate routes from the company’s Chakan plant in Maharashtra, traversing nearly 70 cities before concluding their journey on January 25, 2025. The tour is designed to showcase the Kylaq’s Modern Solid design, advanced features, and European engineering.
Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, expressed his delight, stating, “The response has been extraordinary—10,000 bookings in just 10 days, even before customers have had the chance to experience the car in person! The Kylaq represents our commitment to bringing European technology to Indian roads, and the Dream Tour allows us to connect with customers nationwide and let them experience our newest SUV firsthand.”
The India Dream Tour: A Journey to Remember
The Dream Tour will see Škoda’s Kylaq SUVs traveling on three distinct routes:
- West-South Route: Cities like Pune, Kolhapur, Panaji, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
- West-North Route: Stops in Mumbai, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Delhi.
- East Route: Destinations include Nashik, Nagpur, Kolkata, and several others.
Each stop will feature static displays where customers can get an up-close look at the Kylaq’s design and features. These displays will serve as a prelude to the SUV’s official showroom debut on January 27, 2025.
The Kylaq: Redefining the Sub-4-Metre Segment

The vehicle has been rigorously tested, covering over 800,000 kilometers—equivalent to the distance to the moon and back—ensuring unmatched reliability. Škoda is also offering a complimentary 3-year Standard Maintenance Package (SMP) for the first 33,333 customers, ensuring an industry-leading maintenance cost of just ₹0.24/km over five years.
The limited-edition Kylaq Classic variant has already sold out but will reopen for bookings after the first batch of 33,333 customers has been served.
