Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Achieves Landmark 200,000 Electric Vehicles Sold

Mumbai – Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a key player in India’s commercial electric vehicle (EV) sector and a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, proudly announces the sale of over 200,000 electric vehicles, reinforcing its position as the country’s top manufacturer in the field. This remarkable achievement highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable transportation and innovation.

The company has emerged as a leader in the L5 segment, where EV penetration soared to 21.7% year-to-date in FY25, up from just 7.6% in FY23, as reported by Vahan. Over the past 17 months alone, MLMML has sold more than 100,000 EVs, driven by the successful introduction of technologically advanced models like the Treo Plus, e-Alfa Plus, and the recently launched Mahindra ZEO, a four-wheeled electric commercial vehicle designed for the sub-2 ton segment.

Holding a commanding 41.2% market share in the L5 EV category, as per the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), MLMML continues to lead the charge in electrifying the three-wheeler market. The company has significantly boosted production at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Haridwar, and Zaheerabad to keep pace with soaring demand.

In celebration of this milestone, MLMML has unveiled a new customer loyalty initiative called UDAY NXT. This program offers vehicle purchasers ₹ 20 lakh in driver accidental insurance, along with a suite of additional services, including career counseling for their children and business and finance advice. This innovative program was designed with input from customers, building on the success of the earlier UDAY initiative.

Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, emphasized the company’s dedication to sustainability, stating, “At Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, sustainability is not a choice but a promise to our future generations. Our collaborative, agile, and bold efforts have helped reimagine the last mile ecosystem with reliable products and integrated solutions. Reaching the milestone of 200,000 electric vehicles reflects our dedication to innovation and addressing the evolving needs of urban logistics.”

This milestone marks a significant step forward in Mahindra’s journey toward electrifying India’s commercial transportation sector, setting new standards for sustainability and customer engagement in the automotive industry.
