Hyundai India Unveils New Campaign: “Space and Mileage, Together in One Drive”

Showcasing the Hy-CNG Duo Technology in the Exter and Grand i10 Nios

Gurugram: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched an exciting new brand campaign, “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.” This initiative highlights their latest innovation—the Dual Cylinder CNG technology—featured in the recently introduced Exter and Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo models. Aimed at addressing the modern consumer’s demand for both space and fuel efficiency, the campaign offers a fresh take on sustainable travel solutions.

The Hy-CNG Duo brand campaign is a masterclass in blending convenience with efficiency. The message is clear: customers no longer have to choose between ample boot space and superior mileage. The campaign is designed to resonate with today’s drivers who prioritize both practicality and performance.

Tarun Garg, Whole Time Director & Chief Operating Officer at Hyundai Motor India, emphasized the significance of the new technology, stating, “Our Hy-CNG Duo technology has been met with overwhelming positive feedback. In September 2024, CNG-powered vehicles accounted for 13% of our total sales, and the Exter and Grand i10 Nios saw a 25% and 20% rise in their CNG models’ contributions, respectively. This campaign perfectly highlights the balance between convenience and fuel economy our customers are looking for.”

The core of the campaign is captured in a relatable, family-oriented television commercial (TVC), set against the backdrop of a traditional Indian wedding. The storyline showcases the practical advantage of the Exter’s spacious boot, enhanced by the new dual-cylinder CNG setup, making luggage loading a breeze—without sacrificing mileage. The result is a memorable representation of how the Exter and Grand i10 Nios cater to the needs of family-focused, space-conscious travelers.

Running across multiple platforms—YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram—the campaign is targeted at auto enthusiasts and eco-conscious families. With a heavy emphasis on digital engagement, the initiative is set to boost website traffic and video views while reinforcing Hyundai’s reputation as a brand that listens to its customers’ evolving demands.

Both the Exter and Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo are powered by a 1.2L bi-fuel engine (Petrol + CNG) paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, offering impressive fuel efficiency of 27.1 km/kg and 26.9 km/kg, respectively. The clever placement of the CNG system under the luggage compartment ensures maximum safety without compromising on boot space—a thoughtful detail that underscores Hyundai’s customer-centric approach.

With the “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.” campaign, Hyundai India is not just promoting cars, but an entire philosophy of eco-friendly, high-performance mobility that meets the demands of today’s Indian families.
