In a fusion of luxury, technology, and esports, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a custom electric G-Class to serve as the official Trophy Carrier for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship. This electrifying partnership sees the renowned automaker transporting the iconic Summoner’s Cup from Berlin to London, with a stop in Paris, as the tournament heats up across Europe.
As the world’s most famous esports trophy makes its way to the final match in London this November, fans will get a glimpse of Mercedes-Benz’s cutting-edge electric G-Class, personalized for this year’s championship. This unique vehicle, equipped with customizations from the exclusive Mercedes-Benz MANUFAKTUR program, symbolizes the automaker’s commitment to innovation and style. Featuring the League of Legends Worlds logo stitched into the headrests and a specialized trunk module to securely house the Summoner’s Cup, the vehicle blends luxury with the high-octane world of esports.
Chris Greeley, Global Head of LoL Esports at Riot Games, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “The electric G-Class embodies the innovation and forward-thinking spirit shared by both Mercedes-Benz and the League of Legends community.”
The partnership doesn’t stop with the Trophy Carrier. Mercedes-Benz has also designed exclusive championship rings for the tournament’s winning team, further cementing their deep involvement in the esports world. As the official automotive partner of League of Legends Esports, Mercedes-Benz is also launching a new campaign in line with this year’s theme, “Make Them Believe,” celebrating the determination and skill of all participating players.

Having secured his fourth World Championship title, Faker enters this year’s competition as a record-holder and the first member inducted into the Hall of Legends.
Worlds 2024 kicks off on September 25 in Berlin, moves to Paris for the Knockout Stage, and culminates with the Finals in London on November 2. Fans attending the exclusive Viewing Experience hosted by Mercedes-Benz and Mastercard at the Salzufer dealership in Berlin will have the chance to witness the world’s top teams battling it out for glory, all while celebrating the unique synergy of luxury automobiles and esports.
