Audi Electrifies the Roads with RS e-tron GT Performance: A 925 PS Powerhouse Unveiled

A Benchmark in Electric Mobility: 680 kW Output, RS Performance Mode, and Enhanced Efficiency

Audi has once again redefined the future of electric mobility with the introduction of its most powerful production vehicle to date, the RS e-tron GT Performance. The sleek, fully electric four-door coupé showcases Audi’s technical prowess and commitment to precision, delivering a remarkable 680 kW (925 PS) output, making it the new flagship of the brand’s electric lineup.

Power and Innovation Under the Hood
At the heart of the RS e-tron GT Performance are two cutting-edge permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PSMs). A reinforced 252 kW motor powers the front axle, while the rear is equipped with a newly developed 415 kW motor, featuring advanced copper winding for greater current conduction and a lightweight design. Together, they provide incredible acceleration, enhanced by Audi’s Launch Control system, pushing the output to an astounding 680 kW when needed. This technical masterpiece not only boosts speed but also optimizes energy efficiency, with the power consumption reaching 20.8–18.7 kWh per 100 km and zero emissions.

A Thermal Management System Built for Performance
The RS e-tron GT Performance’s adaptability shines through in its thermal management system, which is crucial for maintaining high performance in varying driving conditions. Four interconnected coolant circuits manage heat distribution between the electric motors, battery, and cabin. This cutting-edge cooling strategy ensures the vehicle can deliver peak performance even during demanding drives, particularly when engaging the exclusive RS Performance mode designed for winding mountain roads and challenging circuits.

Push-to-Pass for Instant Power Boosts
For those craving a burst of speed, the RS e-tron GT Performance features a push-to-pass function that delivers an additional 70 kW of power for up to ten seconds at speeds above 30 km/h. This instant boost, combined with Audi’s drive select dynamic handling system, offers drivers total control over their vehicle’s character, with five unique drive modes, including two customizable RS-specific settings.

Innovative Tires and Unparalleled Handling
Audi’s attention to detail extends to the tires, with the option of 21-inch high-performance tires that maximize grip and lateral acceleration. These tires, made from up to 55% renewable or recycled materials, not only enhance sustainability but also improve range and braking efficiency. For everyday use, long-range tires come standard, designed to minimize rolling resistance.

A Design Statement That Blends Carbon Elegance with Precision
From the optional carbon roof to the exclusive Bedford Green exterior finish, the RS e-tron GT Performance is a work of art. Its striking carbon camouflage accents, including the side mirrors and diffuser, give it an aggressive yet refined appearance. Inside, the vehicle’s sophisticated design continues, with Serpentine Green stitching and 18-way adjustable seats, delivering luxury alongside performance.

Precision-Built at Audi’s Böllinger Höfe Facility
Each RS e-tron GT Performance is meticulously crafted at Audi’s state-of-the-art Böllinger Höfe production facility, where small-series production techniques are employed alongside cutting-edge digital technology. Experienced technicians oversee every aspect of the car’s assembly, ensuring that the final product meets Audi’s highest standards.

Starting at €160,500
Audi’s most powerful production vehicle is available to order now, with prices starting at €160,500 (INR 1.49 crore). Offering unparalleled performance, luxury, and sustainability, the RS e-tron GT Performance sets a new standard for electric Gran Turismo vehicles.
