Maserati has made a grand entry into the Indian luxury car market with the launch of its all-new GranTurismo, a car that promises to redefine the driving experience with its blend of power, luxury, and innovation. The iconic Italian brand has introduced two versions of the GranTurismo in India: the Modena, priced at INR 2.72 crore, and the Trofeo, at INR 2.90 crore, while the much-anticipated electric variant, the GranTurismo Folgore, is set to make its debut in 2025.
The GranTurismo is a masterpiece that embodies Maserati’s commitment to excellence, seamlessly integrating the thrilling performance of a sports car with the comfort and sophistication expected in a grand tourer. With its bold design, muscular power, and aerodynamic elegance, the GranTurismo stands out on Indian roads, offering a driving experience like no other.
Under the hood, the GranTurismo is powered by Maserati’s formidable 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno Twin Turbo engine, a technological marvel inspired by Formula 1. The Trofeo variant, the most powerful of the lineup, delivers an exhilarating 550 hp and 650 Nm of torque, propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 320 km/h. The Modena variant offers a more refined yet equally thrilling drive, with 490 hp and 600 Nm of torque, ensuring a perfect balance of power and comfort for long-distance journeys.
Maserati’s innovative engineering is evident throughout the GranTurismo, from its lightweight construction using aluminum, magnesium, and high-performance steel to its advanced all-wheel-drive system that enhances both performance and driving dynamics. Inside, the car offers a luxurious cabin equipped with the latest in automotive technology, including the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) Multimedia system, a unified touchscreen display, and the exceptional Sonus faber Audio system, all designed to provide an unparalleled driving experience.
Looking to the future, Maserati’s introduction of the GranTurismo Folgore will mark the brand’s foray into the electric vehicle market in India, promising even greater speed, agility, and innovation.
Philippe Claverol, Head of Overseas at Maserati, expressed the brand’s enthusiasm for the GranTurismo’s debut in India, highlighting the car’s significance in blending Maserati’s rich heritage with cutting-edge technology. “The GranTurismo’s powerful performance, exquisite comfort, and innovative technology are poised to transform the driving experience in India, confirming our belief that ‘The Others Just Travel,'” Claverol stated.
The GranTurismo is now available at Maserati dealerships across India, including in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, as the brand continues to expand its presence in the Indian market.
