Nissan Celebrates Chingam with Festive Delivery of 115 Magnite SUVs in Kerala

Kerala, August 21, 2024 — Nissan Motor India celebrated the start of the Malayalam New Year, Chingam, in grand style by delivering 115 Magnite SUVs across Kerala. The deliveries, spread across four Nissan dealerships and ten sales touchpoints in the state, were marked by a festive atmosphere that resonated with the significance of the occasion.

The Nissan Magnite, available in AMT, Turbo CVT, and Manual variants, was delivered to customers with ceremonies that embraced the cultural vibrancy of Chingam. Each dealership went the extra mile to ensure that the handover of the vehicles was not just a transaction, but a memorable celebration, reflecting Nissan’s commitment to creating meaningful experiences for its customers.

“We are thrilled to share this special moment with our customers in Kerala,” said Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India. “Aligning our deliveries with the beginning of Chingam allowed us to connect with the local community in a deeply significant way, making the New Year’s start even more joyous for our customers.”

The Magnite, Nissan’s flagship B-SUV, has already made a considerable impact in India with over 100,000 units sold. Its popularity in Kerala highlights Nissan’s strong presence in the state and its ongoing efforts to cater to the diverse needs of the Indian market. The vehicle’s success is further underscored by its export to 17 international markets, reinforcing its global appeal.

In addition to the Magnite, Nissan has recently expanded its portfolio in India with the introduction of the all-new 4th Generation X-TRAIL, featuring groundbreaking technology like the Variable Compression engine. The company also launched the Magnite EZ-Shift and the KURO Special Edition, offering a wider range of transmission options to meet varied customer preferences.

This festive delivery event not only marked the beginning of a new year but also underscored Nissan’s dedication to honoring local traditions and providing exceptional value and service to its customers.
