Maruti Suzuki Elevates Safety Standards: ESP+ Now Standard Across All Models, Including Alto K10 and S-Presso

New Delhi, August 20, 2024: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has taken a significant step in enhancing vehicle safety by announcing that the Electronic Stability Program+ (ESP) will now be a standard feature across its entire passenger vehicle lineup. The latest models to benefit from this upgrade are the Alto K10 and S-Presso, reflecting the company’s dedication to providing advanced safety features without additional cost to consumers.

By integrating ESP across all its vehicles, Maruti Suzuki is pushing the boundaries of value and safety, ensuring that all customers, regardless of their chosen model, have access to this critical technology. ESP plays a pivotal role in preventing skidding and maintaining the vehicle’s trajectory, significantly boosting driver confidence and road safety.

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing & Sales at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, emphasized the importance of this development, stating, “Making Electronic Stability Program+ a standard feature across our entire product range is part of our mission to democratize advanced automotive technology. This initiative not only adds substantial value to our vehicles but also ensures that every Maruti Suzuki driver enjoys a safer and more secure driving experience.”

In addition to ESP, Maruti Suzuki’s vehicles come equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, and the robust HEARTECT platform. These enhancements reinforce the company’s commitment to leading the market in both safety and affordability.

How ESP+ Enhances Vehicle Safety:
The Electronic Stability Program+ is designed to prevent skidding and maintain the vehicle’s intended path, even in challenging driving conditions. It works by integrating multiple systems, such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), and Stability Control (SC), all of which are managed by an electronic control unit that adjusts the vehicle’s trajectory in real-time. This technology is crucial in ensuring that drivers can maintain control, especially during sudden maneuvers or on slippery roads.

Maruti Suzuki’s move to make ESP+ a standard feature across all models marks a new era in accessible vehicle safety, offering drivers peace of mind without compromising on cost.
