Polestar’s Spectacular Showcase at Goodwood: A New Era for Electric Performance

Polestar (Nasdaq: PSNY), the electric performance car brand, has electrified the Goodwood Festival of Speed with an impressive showcase of their latest models. The highlight of the event was the global debut of the Polestar Concept BST, capturing the attention of automotive enthusiasts and industry experts alike.

A Trio of Electric Excellence

The Goodwood Festival of Speed served as the grand stage for Polestar to display its expanded model lineup, featuring the new Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 electric SUVs alongside the popular Polestar 2. However, stealing the spotlight was the Polestar Concept BST, making its much-anticipated global debut at this iconic motoring event.

Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar, expressed his excitement: “Now that we have three models in production, it’s fantastic to see them together for the first time at a global event. Goodwood is the ideal venue to unveil our Polestar Concept BST. This car is a testament to how far we can push our performance brand – Polestar turned up to 11 – and showcases how we could integrate the BST formula into our future lineup.”

The Polestar Concept BST: A Vision of Performance

The Polestar Concept BST stands out with its bespoke bodywork, finished in a timeless motorsport silver. The car boasts muscular flared arches, an extra-wide track, and 22-inch forged alloy wheels. The aerodynamically optimized bonnet, featuring a unique vented design, is complemented by an aggressive front splitter. The motorsport theme is carried through to the rear with an extreme rear wing and bespoke racing-livery inspired graphics, creating a bold and dynamic appearance.

Dynamic Debut of the Polestar 6 Concept

In addition to the Polestar Concept BST, the Polestar 6 Concept made its dynamic debut in the first glance paddock, thrilling the festival’s attendees as it drove up the 1.2-mile long hill climb. Engineered alongside the Polestar 5 and utilizing the bespoke bonded aluminum Polestar Performance Architecture (PPA) platform, the Polestar 6 represents the pinnacle of Polestar’s current lineup.

A Complete Display of Innovation

On the main Polestar stand, the Polestar Concept BST was joined by the Polestar 2 and the two new luxury electric performance SUVs, Polestar 3 and Polestar 4. This year, Electric Avenue hosted the Polestar 4, where visitors could sign up for test drives along Molecomb Drive within the famous Goodwood estate.

Both the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 are now available to order, with test drives for the Polestar 3 already underway and slots for the Polestar 4 starting soon. This showcase at Goodwood underscores Polestar’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric performance and innovation, setting new standards in the automotive industry.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed continues to be a prime venue for automotive debuts and innovations, and Polestar’s presence this year has certainly raised the bar for what the future holds in the world of electric vehicles.
