GOTHENBURG, SWEDEN – 27 June 2024 – Polestar, the renowned electric performance brand, has announced the addition of a Long Range Single Motor variant to its Polestar 3 line-up. Priced starting at €79,890 (INR 71.66 lakh) including handover fees, this new model expands the accessibility of the Polestar 3, offering a compelling blend of range, performance, and luxury. Orders are now open in Europe, with availability in North America and Australia expected later in 2024.

Performance and Efficiency
The Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor features a robust 111 kWh battery pack, identical to the Dual Motor version. This battery supports a peak charging capability of 250 kW, allowing for a 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes on a DC fast charger. Impressively, the new variant can achieve up to 650 km (WLTP**) on a single charge, making it the most efficient Polestar 3 to date.
Driving Dynamics and Comfort
As a testament to Polestar’s commitment to performance, the Long Range Single Motor retains the engaging driving dynamics of its Dual Motor counterpart. Equipped with a sophisticated passive damper system incorporating Hydraulic Rebound Stops (HRS) and Frequency Selective Damping (FSD), the vehicle ensures a balanced and comfortable ride. The rear-wheel drive setup, delivering 220 kW and 490 Nm of torque, propels the SUV from 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds, while the Brembo braking system ensures precise stopping power.
Customization and Advanced Features
The Long Range Single Motor Polestar 3, part of the MY25 line-up, offers extensive customization options. Customers can choose from six exterior colors, five interior trims, and four wheel options, including the new 21-inch alloy wheels available in the Pro Pack. Additionally, the Pilot Pack with LiDAR from Luminar is available, providing advanced safety and convenience features.
