Gurugram, May 1, 2024 — Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has announced an impressive total sales volume of 63,701 units for April 2024, marking a 9.5% year-over-year increase. The company’s robust sales figures include 50,201 units sold domestically and 13,500 units exported, showcasing a significant boost in its global market reach with a staggering 58.8% growth in exports.
April’s performance underscores Hyundai’s strong trajectory in the Indian market, achieving over 50,000 units in domestic sales for the fourth consecutive month this year. The growth is largely propelled by popular SUV models such as the CRETA, VENUE, and EXTER, which collectively contributed to 67% of Hyundai’s domestic sales.
Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, expressed his enthusiasm about the results, stating, “Hyundai Motor India continues to lead with innovative strategies and compelling products. The consecutive growth in sales, especially in the SUV segment, reflects our deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.”
