Lamborghini Takes Ski Slopes by Storm: Urus and Huracán Trade Tarmac for Powder in Courchevel Escapade

Courchevel, 27 February 2024 – Winter in Courchevel has never been this exhilarating! In a unique twist, Lamborghini swapped city streets for snowy slopes, introducing their latest Urus S and Huracán Sterrato models to the French Alps’ picturesque terrain. Over 200 kilometers of mountainous roads in Les Trois Vallées became the playground for these high-octane supercars, melding luxury with adrenaline-fueled adventure.

The exclusive event, set against snow-draped vistas and the opulence of Courchevel, wasn’t just about car chases on snow. It was a full-fledged Lamborghini lifestyle experience. Guests got a taste of Italian flair and craftsmanship, delving into the masterpieces created in Sant’Agata Bolognese. A highlight was the watchmaking workshop with Roger Dubuis, Lamborghini’s partner, where guests witnessed the birth of horological masterpieces like the Excalibur Spider Monobalancier Huracán.

The accommodation at Le K2 Palace only added to the grandeur. This ultra-luxurious resort, nestled in the heart of the French Alps, is a blend of Himalayan inspiration and opulent charm, offering breathtaking views and direct ski slope access. Culinary delights awaited the guests at L’Altitude and Bottleneck restaurants, where Tibetan decor met French gourmet mastery.

The event’s centerpiece, however, was the thrilling performance of Lamborghini’s Urus S and Huracán Sterrato. The roar of their V8 and V10 engines echoed through the Tarentaise Valley, turning heads and thrilling hearts. It wasn’t just about the drive; the experience was amplified by Michelin-starred culinary journeys, a dive into Roger Dubuis’ expressive watch designs, and the sophisticated luxury of their accommodations.

The Urus S, Lamborghini’s vision of a Super SUV, shone with its twin-turbo V8 engine, pushing 656 HP and promising a blend of performance, luxury, and versatility. With a top speed of 305 km/h, it’s a beast on any terrain. Meanwhile, the Huracán Sterrato, a radical departure from traditional super sports cars, offered a unique off-road driving experience, combining rally car excitement with supercar performance.

In essence, this winter call to Courchevel wasn’t just a showcase of Lamborghini’s engineering prowess; it was a celebration of luxury, performance, and adventure, set in one of the world’s most exquisite winter landscapes. Lamborghini has once again proven that they can take the thrill of the drive from the racetrack to the ski slopes, leaving an unforgettable mark on the snowy canvas of the French Alps.
