This latest iteration marks a significant chapter in the storied presence of the Jimny in Indonesia, promising to “Carve Your Legendary Path” with more doors and more room for adventure.
Matsushita Ryohei, the Director of 4W Sales & Marketing at PT SIS, shared insights into the Jimny’s storied history and deep connection with Indonesian consumers. Known for its timeless design and enduring identity since the 1970s, the Jimny has continually evolved to meet the demands of off-road enthusiasts. “The Jimny’s legendary resilience in conquering challenging terrains while delivering satisfaction to off-road lovers is a key reason for its anticipation. Responding to the enthusiasm and demand in Indonesia, we are proud to introduce the latest model in our legendary SUV lineup – the Suzuki Jimny 5-door,” stated Matsushita.
Standing shoulder to shoulder with its predecessors, the Suzuki Jimny 5-door boasts a rugged and masculine design tailored to the diverse Indonesian landscape. Its dimensions, with a length of 3,965 mm and a wheelbase of 2,590 mm, ensure ample space for passengers and cargo, offering a relaxed yet capable off-road driving experience. The addition of doors enhances rear passenger access, while a 211-liter cargo capacity ensures adventurers have enough room for their gear.
Equipped with off-road features like a Chrome Front Grille, Rear View Camera, and 4 Spots Parking Sensor, the Jimny 5-door adds value for its users. Safety is also a priority, with six airbags offering protection in adverse conditions. Entertainment is provided via a 9-inch touchscreen head unit with smartphone connections, ensuring a pleasant journey.
The Suzuki Jimny 5-door is powered by the renowned K15B 1,500cc engine, balancing power with fuel efficiency for off-road vehicles. Customers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission, tailored to their driving preferences.
Available in six adventurous colors, with three dual-tone options like Metallic Sizzling Red + Pearl Bluish Black, Kinetic Yellow + Pearl Bluish Black, and Metallic Chiffon Ivory + Pearl Bluish Black, and three single-tone options for a more understated look.
With its launch on February 15, 2024, the Suzuki Jimny 5-door is now available for pre-order at Suzuki outlets across Indonesia. The recommended On The Road (OTR) prices for Jakarta in 2024 are as follows:

- Jimny 5-door (MT): Rp462.000.000
