For those sticking to good old-fashioned gasoline power, the Match trim sits above the Life trim for ICE models (SE Family on the Touran). While it may cost anywhere from £175 to £705 more than its lower counterpart (based on January 2024 prices), it offers an array of comical upgrades, including larger alloy wheels, metallic paint, tinted windows, a rear-view camera, and keyless entry. Who knew a Match could light up your car this way?
But the real laugh riot is happening in the electric vehicle (EV) segment. The Match trim for the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, and the all-new ID.7 promises extra equipment that will have you chuckling all the way to the showroom. With metallic paint, an electric tailgate, exterior pack, and an assistance pack, these EVs are fully loaded with humor. And here’s the punchline: on-the-road prices have been reduced by up to around £4,300. That’s a discount even your funniest uncle would envy!

The new ID.3 Match trims replace the previous Pro and Pro S versions, and there’s even an additional Pro S Essential trim available for £39,190 on the road. For the ID.4, the Pro Match and Pro 4M Match step in to replace the previous Life and Style trims.
