Toyota’s Green Gala: Eco-Friendly Autos and Local Flavors Set to Steal the Show at Bharat Mobility Expo 2024

Bangalore, January 24, 2024 – As the curtains rise on the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, India gears up for what’s being hailed as a groundbreaking event in global mobility. This expo, a first-of-its-kind in India, brings together the crème de la crème of the automotive world, showcasing India’s prowess in the realms of sustainable vehicle technology, urban mobility solutions, and more. This event is not just a showcase; it’s a statement – India is revving up to be a global hub for advanced and eco-friendly automotive manufacturing.

In the midst of this high-octane affair, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is poised to turn heads with its display of advanced green technology and a dedication to the “Grow India – Grow with India” ethos. Visitors to TKM’s pavilion will be treated to an array of cutting-edge vehicle technologies – think Battery Electric, Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicles, and even the trailblazing Fuel-Cell Electric Vehicle. It’s not just about the future; it’s about a greener, cleaner tomorrow. From the Electrified Flexi Fuel Vehicle, which promises a smooth transition from fossil fuels to green fuel, to CNG vehicles and an emergency response vehicle designed for societal needs, including the Indian armed forces, TKM’s lineup is as diverse as it is innovative.

Vikram Gulati, Country Head and Executive Vice President of TKM, is brimming with excitement. “As the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 rolls out, we’re thrilled to be a part of this monumental event. It’s a fantastic platform to show the world what India’s auto industry is capable of, especially in green technologies,” he said. Gulati also highlighted Toyota’s commitment to supporting the Indian government’s goals of self-reliance and energy independence through a range of green technologies and extensive localization efforts.

Marking over 25 years in India, Toyota has not only catered to the mobility needs of its consumers but has also focused on skilling over 1,40,000 individuals, primarily from rural areas. The company’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its goal to achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2050 and Net Zero Carbon in Manufacturing Operations by 2035. By introducing multiple green mobility solutions and supporting government initiatives for mass electrification, Toyota is steering India towards becoming an “Atma Nirbhar Bharat,” achieving energy security and carbon neutrality.

So, as the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 takes off, keep your eyes peeled for Toyota’s eco-friendly lineup – it’s not just a showcase; it’s the future on wheels!
