Lancia, a brand synonymous with Italian elegance and innovation, has unveiled its latest technological breakthrough: the S.A.L.A. (Sound Air Light Augmentation) infotainment system. This advanced feature, set to debut in the New Lancia Ypsilon, aims to transform the in-car experience by allowing drivers and passengers to easily control audio, climate, and lighting through intuitive voice commands or a simple button touch.
The third teaser image of the New Lancia Ypsilon was revealed today, showcasing the S.A.L.A. system, a key component of Lancia’s future vehicles. Designed to simplify the digital experience, S.A.L.A. reflects the brand’s commitment to customer-centric technology. The system’s name, which translates to ‘living room’ in Italian, aptly represents its purpose: creating a comfortable, homelike atmosphere within the vehicle.
Equipped with two HD screens and a widget-based interface, the S.A.L.A. system offers a fully customizable experience. Its central control panel seamlessly integrates the control of sound, air, and light, ensuring a tailored environment for each journey.
The upcoming reveal of the New Lancia Ypsilon, scheduled for February 2024, marks a significant step in Lancia’s Renaissance journey. The model, available in a limited edition of 1906 numbered and certified units, features a 100% BEV engine. This launch aligns with the Stellantis “Dare Forward” strategic plan and is supported by the Free2move Charge integrated charging ecosystem.
