Bengaluru Gets Its Most Luxurious Address as Mercedes-Benz Opens India’s First Maybach Lounge

Bengaluru: Bengaluru’s luxury car scene just shifted gears—from premium to positively palatial. Mercedes-Benz India today inaugurated its newest state-of-the-art luxury sales and service facility, Viva Star, making the city the first in India to host both a Maybach Lounge and a Maybach “Icons of Luxury” store under one roof. In simpler terms: if luxury had a pin code, it would now be in South Bengaluru.

Marking another milestone for the brand, India has officially entered Mercedes-Maybach’s Top 5 global markets, a clear signal that ultra-luxury is no longer just a global aspiration but a very Indian reality—complete with white gloves and bespoke interiors.

Adding to the celebration, Mercedes-Benz also launched the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 in Bengaluru, priced at ₹2.75 crore (ex-showroom, all-India). The cherry on the handcrafted cake? This is the first time the Maybach GLS 600 is being “Made in India” outside the USA, proving that “Atmanirbhar Bharat” can also come with reclining rear seats and champagne holders.

“Bengaluru remains a key market for Mercedes-Benz, buoyed by growing demand for top-end luxury vehicles from young aspirational customers. With India’s most exquisite Maybach Lounge, we are strengthening our footprint and curating the most desirable luxury experience for our discerning customers,”
Santosh Iyer, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India

Karnataka’s First Exclusive Maybach Lounge

The new Maybach Lounge at Viva Star offers an invite-only style experience for India’s luxury connoisseurs. Think of it as less “car showroom” and more “private luxury atelier”, complete with the Maybach Retail Kit, showcasing handcrafted manufaktur customisation options—presented, quite literally, with white gloves.

From paint shades to premium leathers, every detail is curated for those who believe “standard” is just a starting point.

A Dealership That’s Bigger Than Some Tech Startups

Built in a record 5 months with an investment of around ₹200 million, Viva Star spans:

  • 10,400 sq. ft. luxury sales showroom across four levels
  • 16,600 sq. ft. advanced service facility
  • 6 car display zones, 19 working bays, and dedicated luxury lounges
  • 60 kW fast charger at the showroom and 180 kW charger at the service centre

In short, even your EV can charge faster here than most people’s phones.

The Road Ahead

Mercedes-Benz plans to inaugurate 20 new luxury touchpoints across 3 new cities in 2026, reinforcing its “Go to Customer” strategy and making sure ultra-luxury is never too far—geographically or emotionally.

As Bengaluru cements its place among India’s top billionaire hubs, Mercedes-Benz has made it clear: this city doesn’t just code the future—it drives it in a Maybach.
