Modena – Maserati has officially thrown open the doors to its new Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, an innovative space at its historic Modena headquarters dedicated to bespoke customisation and next-level craftsmanship. Marking a milestone in the brand’s 110-year journey, this immersive atelier is not just a workshop—it’s a canvas for those who want their Maserati to be as unique as their imagination.
The space, nestled within the iconic Viale Ciro Menotti plant, ushers in a new era for the House of the Trident. Here, Italian artisanship meets cutting-edge technology, offering customers the rare opportunity to design their dream car, down to the last stitch and stripe. It’s a bold declaration that luxury is no longer about status—it’s about story.
A Legacy Reimagined
A century after Mario Maserati sketched the first Trident, inspired by Neptune’s statue in Bologna, the spirit of that emblem has evolved. 2025 has been dubbed the year of the Trident, and the new Officine Fuoriserie stands as a testament to Maserati’s continued commitment to art, performance, and personal expression.
CEO Santo Ficili hailed the new space as a celebration of Italian luxury and a deepening of the bond between Maserati and its drivers. “This is more than personalisation—it’s co-creation,” he said. “It’s about giving our clients the tools to express themselves through the lens of Maserati’s heritage and innovation.”
Fuoriserie: Personalisation, Perfected
The Fuoriserie programme, already a cornerstone of Maserati’s vision, has now expanded into a fully immersive experience. From classic body hues to avant-garde materials, from heritage inspirations to futuristic fantasies, the programme offers two primary collections:
- Collezione Corse draws from Maserati’s racing legacy. Think iconic liveries, bold brake calipers, and leathers echoing motorsport elegance.
- Collezione Futura is for the boundary-pushers—those who crave experimental textures, sustainable materials, and daring colour palettes.
For those who want to transcend even these options, the Bespoke level offers a truly one-of-one experience. Customers become co-designers, working hand-in-hand with Maserati’s Centro Stile to create a car that exists nowhere else in the world.
Technology Meets Tailoring
The new Officine spans over 4,000 square metres and houses more than 20 workstations, each dedicated to the meticulous painting and finishing of Maserati’s current lineup—including the Grecale, MC20, GT2 Stradale, GranTurismo, and GranCabrio. This state-of-the-art paint facility blends robotic precision with hand-crafted artistry, producing up to 24 custom-painted vehicles per day.
The three-stage painting process—featuring a cutting-edge automated line, double thermal curing, and artisan detailing—ensures not just variety, but excellence. With a team poised to grow to 110 skilled specialists, the facility stands as a powerful investment in both the brand and the Modena community.
One-Off Wonder: MC20 Cielo “Less is More…?”
To christen the Officine, Maserati revealed the MC20 Cielo “Less is More…?”—a one-off masterpiece that fuses Bauhaus aesthetics with racing soul. This custom-built open-top supercar is a tribute to simplicity, shape, and colour.
Wrapped in Blu Corse Matte, the car wears a stylised Trident crafted from geometric forms in red, yellow, white, and blue, echoing Bauhaus legends like Kandinsky and Klee. The design is at once minimalist and explosive, down to the hand-finished multi-tone wheels and a badge-laden livery that speaks volumes without saying a word.
The car is more than a showpiece—it’s a manifesto for the Bespoke spirit: one client, one vision, one Maserati that will never be repeated.
