Gurugram, India — BMW Group India has unveiled its cutting-edge Retail.Next dealership concept at Bird Automotive in Gurugram, marking a significant transformation in luxury automotive retail. Designed to harmonize world-class design with advanced digital tools, this revolutionary approach brings BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad under one roof, redefining the automotive buying and service experience for Indian customers.

The Retail.Next initiative, which involves an investment of INR 365.6 crores over 36 months across 33 cities, integrates modernized layouts, innovative technologies, and customer-centric processes to create a seamless blend of physical and digital interactions, or “phygital” experiences. With a focus on customer satisfaction and brand immersion, this facility promises to transform how luxury vehicles are showcased, purchased, and serviced in India.

A Futuristic Customer Experience

BMW Group India’s Retail.Next showrooms are designed to go beyond traditional dealerships, offering customers an immersive experience where they can explore, customize, and engage with the brand in an entirely new way. Gone are the conventional reception counters; instead, visitors are greeted at welcoming stations that break down physical barriers and offer a more personalized and approachable interaction with staff.

The Gurugram showroom, spread over 8,690 sq. ft., elegantly showcases an array of luxury vehicles, including BMW and MINI models. The open layout and minimalist design create an intuitive flow, while integrated digital interfaces allow customers to explore vehicle features, customize their preferences, and receive tailored recommendations. Key features include private consultation areas, a stylish hospitality lounge, and a fully accessorized highlight car that creates a ‘Wow-Effect’ at the dealership.

Luxury Beyond the Showroom Floor

Retail.Next doesn’t stop at aesthetics—it also offers innovative digital tools and personalized services to enhance customer interactions. Sales consultants and BMW Geniuses are equipped with cutting-edge tools to provide detailed insights into product features, financing options, and aftersales services. The unique lounge atmosphere ensures that every consultation feels relaxed and intimate, whether customers are exploring new models, discussing financing, or preparing for test drives.

For electric vehicle (EV) enthusiasts, the showroom is equipped with AC/DC Fast-Charging stations, ensuring a forward-thinking approach to sustainability.
