Mercedes-Benz and JDS Development Group have offered a first glimpse inside their highly anticipated North American project, Mercedes-Benz Places in Miami. This groundbreaking 67-story mixed-use development seamlessly blends luxury living with innovative mobility concepts in the Brickell neighborhood, unveiling a visionary approach to urban living.
Key features of the tower include private porte-cochere access under a sculptural canopy and a panoramic rooftop pool offering stunning skyline views. In the inaugural four days of sales, more than 100 residences were purchased, marking a successful launch for the development.
Hosted at The Concours Club before the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, an exclusive event showcased the project’s futuristic designs with Toto Wolff, Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Principal, and JDS Development Group CEO Michael Stern leading discussions. Guests also enjoyed test-driving Mercedes-AMG GT R models with expert drivers.
Residences vary from studios to three-bedroom units, featuring Woods Bagot interiors that blend crisp whites and blacks with natural wood accents. The Mercedes-Benz design team collaborated with Woods Bagot and SHoP Architects to ensure the building embodies the brand’s “Sensual Purity” design philosophy.
“Working with the Mercedes-Benz brand enabled us to create a distinctive design language,” said Krista Ninivaggi, Principal and Interior Design Leader at Woods Bagot. “It’s truly a special project.”
The tower’s geometric design enhances its presence on the Miami skyline, embodying emotion and intelligence in every detail. Silver, black, and white elements provide striking contrasts, while the distinctive porte-cochere welcomes residents with dynamic curves and lighting. Further revitalizing the Brickell neighborhood, the project merges urban living with the iconic Mercedes-Benz aesthetic, setting a new standard in luxury residences.
