Maruti Suzuki June 2026 Sales Climb to 200,390 Units on Strong Domestic Demand

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited reported total sales of 200,390 units in June 2026, up from 167,993 units in June 2025, as higher domestic passenger vehicle sales and steady exports helped India’s largest carmaker put another strong month on the board.

The company’s total sales for the month included 150,150 units in domestic sales, 7,472 units sold to other OEMs, and 42,768 units exported. In comparison, Maruti Suzuki had sold 121,339 domestic units, 8,812 units to other OEMs, and exported 37,842 units in June 2025.

Domestic passenger vehicle sales rose to 147,187 units in June 2026, compared with 118,906 units a year earlier. For a market where every percentage point is usually hard-fought, that is a fairly comfortable jump — though the spreadsheet, as always, delivered the news without applause.

The passenger car category, which includes the Alto, S-Presso, Baleno, Celerio, Ciaz, Dzire, Ignis, Swift and WagonR, recorded sales of 75,231 units, up from 61,619 units in June 2025. Within this, the mini segment comprising Alto and S-Presso contributed 11,416 units, while the compact and mid-size segment added 63,815 units.

Utility vehicles remained a major contributor. The segment, comprising Brezza, Ertiga, e Vitara, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris and XL6, posted sales of 61,726 units in June 2026, against 47,947 units in the same month last year.

The Eeco van registered 10,230 units during the month, compared with 9,340 units in June 2025. Maruti Suzuki’s light commercial vehicle, Super Carry, recorded 2,963 units, up from 2,433 units a year earlier.

Sales to other OEMs declined to 7,472 units from 8,812 units in June 2025. Exports, however, continued to provide support, rising to 42,768 units from 37,842 units.

For the April-June period of FY 2026-27, Maruti Suzuki’s total sales stood at 682,724 units, compared with 527,861 units in the corresponding period of FY 2025-26. Total domestic passenger vehicle sales during the quarter reached 525,228 units, while exports stood at 124,736 units.

The quarterly performance was led by broad-based growth across passenger cars, utility vehicles and exports. The utility vehicle segment alone accounted for 218,885 units in April-June FY 2026-27, up from 161,868 units in the year-ago period.

Maruti Suzuki’s June numbers underline the continued strength of India’s passenger vehicle market, particularly in utility vehicles, while exports remain an important cushion in a competitive industry. As the first quarter of FY 2026-27 closes, the company enters the rest of the year with momentum — and, judging by the unit count, quite a few dispatch trucks still busy.
