In a move that feels less like expansion and more like a well-timed pit stop upgrade, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has rolled out two brand-new BharatBenz dealerships in Maharashtra—one in Talegaon near Pune and the other in Malegaon in Nashik district. And yes, your truck’s next service appointment just got a lot less dramatic.
Partnering with Autobahn Trucking, the German-backed commercial vehicle giant is strengthening its footprint across two of Maharashtra’s busiest industrial corridors—because when logistics never sleeps, neither should service support.
Strategically placed on the bustling NH48 (the Mumbai–Bangalore highway that probably sees more trucks than tourist selfies), the Talegaon facility sits just a short drive from Pune Airport and railway station. Meanwhile, the Malegaon dealership quietly takes charge of northern Maharashtra, covering key industrial routes connecting Nashik, Dhule, Indore, and beyond.
Now, let’s talk scale—because the Talegaon facility isn’t here to play small. Spread across a massive 40,000 sq. ft. built-up area on 3 acres of land, it boasts 16 service bays and full-fledged 3S capabilities—sales, service, and spares. In simpler terms, it’s like a five-star hotel for trucks, minus the room service but with plenty of torque.
With the capacity to service up to 7,200 vehicles annually, the facility is designed to keep fleets moving and downtime crying in a corner. The Malegaon unit complements this setup with focused support for tanker, bulker, and agricultural segments—essentially ensuring that whether your truck carries cement or crops, help is never far away.
Together, these dealerships promise less than three-hour customer reach on major highways—an impressive feat in a country where “बस पहुँच रहे हैं” can mean anything from 10 minutes to tomorrow morning.
Speaking on the expansion, Rajiv Chaturvedi, President & Chief Business Officer at DICV, highlighted Maharashtra’s booming logistics demand and the need for robust after-sales support. With these additions, BharatBenz is marching towards its ambitious network of 450+ touchpoints across India, aiming to deliver faster service, higher uptime, and a smoother ownership experience.
Mohamed Farzad, Managing Director of Autobahn Trucking, emphasized that these facilities are built to serve the backbone of India’s infrastructure—tippers and construction vehicles. The Talegaon unit, in particular, is expected to play a crucial role for trucks plying between Mumbai and Bangalore, while also catering exclusively to bus customers.
With 19 touchpoints now across Maharashtra and a customer base of over 10,000 BharatBenz vehicles, Autobahn Trucking is clearly not just expanding—it’s building a highway of reliability.
Because in the world of trucking, time is money—and BharatBenz just made sure neither gets stuck in traffic.
