Kia Sweetens the Syros Deal: New HTK(EX) Trim Brings Premium Features at Sub-₹10 Lakh Price

New Delhi: Listening to customers is one thing. Acting on it—without inflating the price—is another. And that’s exactly what Kia India has done by expanding the Syros line-up with the introduction of the new HTK(EX) trim, priced at ₹9.89 lakh* for petrol and ₹10.63 lakh* for diesel (ex-showroom).

Positioned smartly between affordability and aspiration, the HTK(EX) trim pushes the Syros portfolio to seven variants, giving buyers more choice—and fewer reasons to say, “I wish it had just one more feature.”

More Features, Same Kia Confidence

Based on the popular HTK(O) variant, the new HTK(EX) arrives with visible upgrades that instantly raise the style quotient. LED DRLs, LED headlamps and taillamps, and R16 alloy wheels ensure the SUV looks premium even before it leaves the parking lot—no aftermarket shopping required.

Inside, the feature list reads like a checklist most buyers actually want ticked:

  • Electric sunroof (because sunlight sells)
  • 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • Electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs
  • Rear parking camera with sensors
  • Streamlined door handles for a cleaner look

In short, this trim is for those who like their convenience factory-fitted and warranty-approved.

Safety: Not Optional, Not Compromised

True to Kia’s positioning, safety remains a headline act. The HTK(EX) carries over 20 safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist and Vehicle Stability Management. Add to that a 5-star BNCAP rating, and the Syros continues to stand tall as a family-first SUV that doesn’t cut corners where it matters.

Diesel Joins the Party

For buyers who still prefer torque with their touring, the HTK(EX) is now also available with a diesel powertrain, strengthening its appeal across fuel preferences and widening its customer base.

Designed to Balance Opposites—And Budgets

Built on Kia’s reinforced K1 platform and shaped by the brand’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, the Syros blends bold exterior styling with a spacious, airy cabin and class-leading boot space. Whether it’s weekday commutes or weekend luggage gymnastics, the SUV promises comfort for all passengers—front to boot.

Summing up the intent behind the launch, Atul Sood, Sr. VP & National Head – Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said the HTK(EX) trim reflects Kia’s commitment to customer feedback and value-driven decisions—making the Syros more accessible without diluting what buyers expect from the brand.
