Jaisalmer — Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has officially electrified its popular subcompact SUV lineup with the launch of the XUV 3XO EV, priced from an attractive ₹13.89 lakh (ex-showroom). If the petrol and diesel versions taught the segment how to sell in big numbers, the EV now shows how to do it quietly—and rather quickly.
Designed for urban India’s daily grind (traffic jams included), the XUV 3XO EV combines real-world usability with headline-grabbing performance. Power comes from a 39.4 kWh battery delivering up to 285 km of real-world range, while a punchy 110 kW motor and 310 Nm of torque propel the SUV from 0–100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds. In simple terms: it’s quick enough to surprise traffic lights and calm enough for office parking lots.

Familiar Design, Electrified Attitude
Visually, the XUV 3XO EV stays true to the sharp, confident stance that made the model a hit since its debut in April 2024. Inside, the cabin leans into a premium, tech-forward vibe—proving that “compact” doesn’t have to mean “compromised.” With close to 1.8 lakh XUV 3XO units sold so far, Mahindra clearly knows what customers like—and the EV builds right on that winning formula.
Technology That Actually Matters
Mahindra has armed the XUV 3XO EV with segment-leading features that feel less like gimmicks and more like daily essentials. Highlights include Level 2 ADAS, Adrenox with 80+ connected features and Alexa, a 360-degree surround view system, and a Harman Kardon audio setup with Dolby Atmos—because silence is golden, but good music is better.
Comfort hasn’t been forgotten either. Expect dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, electronic parking brake with auto hold, passive keyless entry, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, and 60:40 split rear seats—making city commutes and weekend errands equally stress-free.
Performance With Personality
Mahindra adds a dash of drama with multiple drive modes—Fun, Fast and Fearless—ensuring the EV adapts to your mood, whether it’s Monday-morning calm or Friday-evening enthusiasm. Four disc brakes, six airbags, TPMS, and 35 standard safety features keep things sensible when the excitement kicks in.
Speaking on the launch, Nalinikanth Gollagunta, Chief Executive Officer – Automotive Division, said, “The XUV 3XO rewrote the rules by bringing aspiration and accessibility together. With the XUV 3XO EV, we’re extending that promise into electric mobility—engineered around real usage patterns and everyday confidence.”

The XUV 3XO EV is offered in AX5 and AX7L variants, with deliveries commencing from February 23, 2026. At this price point, it aims to make electric mobility feel less like a future decision and more like a smart present-day upgrade.
