Mahindra Rolls Out ‘Compax’ Mini Compactor at EXCON 2025 — Small Machine, Big Attitude, Bigger Performance

Bengaluru: Mahindra Construction Equipment (MCE) has officially lifted the curtain—quite literally—on its newest pocket-sized powerhouse for the road construction industry: the Mahindra Compax Mini Compactor. Unveiled at CII’s EXCON Exhibition at BIEC, Bengaluru, the Compax arrives with cutting-edge tech, serious engineering muscle, and just enough swagger to make bigger machines slightly insecure.

Designed for India’s fast-expanding infrastructure ecosystem, the Compax isn’t just mini by size—it’s maxed out on capability, comfort and reliability.

A Mighty Mini with Serious Muscle

At the heart of the Compax beats Mahindra’s trusted 2.0L, 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, already a favourite among industry players. Delivering 25 hp and 125 Nm of torque, the engine promises best-in-class fuel efficiency—because even machines understand the importance of saving diesel in 2025.

Dual-frequency vibration modes (55/65 Hz) allow operators to adapt soil compaction to diverse conditions. Whether it’s a rural road or a metro-rail approach, the Compax is ready to shake things up—literally.

Its 720 mm diameter drum, combined with a sturdy single-piece oscillation shaft, ensures durability that can outlast tough job sites and tougher deadlines.

Comfort, Control & a Dash of Mahindra DNA

The Compax perfectly embodies the spirit of “Made in India, Made for the World”. A ROPS-certified canopy shields the operator, ergonomic controls reduce fatigue, and lockable compartments ensure tools stay safe—even from the most curious coworkers.

Its streamlined hydraulics and simplified maintenance layout make service easy and downtime minimal. In other words, it’s built to work more and complain less.

“Higher Productivity, Higher Prosperity,” says Mahindra

Speaking at the unveiling, Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Business Head – Mahindra Truck, Bus and Construction Equipment, and Executive Director & CEO – SML Mahindra Ltd, highlighted the brand’s engineering ethos.
He said, “Mahindra machines are known for cutting-edge technology, best-in-class fuel efficiency and reliability that boosts earnings for our customers. The new Compax reflects the same Mahindra DNA—delivering higher profits and prosperity.”

Part of a Growing Powerhouse Portfolio

Mahindra’s CE business already boasts successful models like the Mahindra RoadMaster Motor Grader, a leader with over 18% market share, and the Mahindra EarthMaster Backhoe Loader, famous for its torque-rich performance and unmatched fuel savings.

With the Compax joining the lineup, Mahindra strengthens its presence in the road construction segment—one compact layer at a time.

Backed by India’s Expanding Service Ecosystem

Reliability doesn’t stop at engineering. Mahindra MCE machines are supported by a rapidly growing nationwide network of 136+ touchpoints, including:
51+ 3S Dealerships
16 Saathi+ Authorized Service Centers
19+ Saathi+ Sales Outlets
50+ Spare Parts Outlets

Because every machine deserves a good support system—just like every contractor deserves a compactor that won’t ghost them mid-project.

With infrastructure spending at an all-time high, the Mahindra Compax arrives at the perfect moment. Compact, efficient, rugged and tech-forward—it’s designed to tackle challenging terrains, tight spaces, and tighter deadlines.
