Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has plenty to celebrate this festive season. The company reported consolidated sales of 10,500 units in September 2025 — a 9.3% YoY growth over September 2024’s 9,629 units, driven by robust performance both at home and abroad.
The domestic market clocked 1,652 units, while exports soared to 8,872 units, including a record-breaking 1,120 units to South Asia — Nissan’s highest-ever monthly sales in the region. Clearly, the Magnite is not just making waves on Indian roads; it’s cruising across continents too.
🧾 GST 2.0 + Festive Season = Buyer Bonanza
The recent GST revisions turned out to be the perfect Navratri gift for car buyers. Nissan passed on the full benefit to customers, cutting prices by up to ₹1 lakh on the New Magnite. Add in the festive season frenzy, and dealerships turned into mini mela grounds with Magnites rolling out faster than festive sweets from the kitchen.
🛡️ Magnite: Small SUV, Big Credentials
The New Nissan Magnite, fresh from earning a 5-star Adult Occupant Protection rating in Global NCAP, is turning into a bit of a segment disruptor. With 20+ first and best-in-segment features, 55+ safety features, and a first-in-segment 10-year warranty, Nissan is clearly playing the long game — quite literally.
The Kuro Special Edition has added more drama, bringing the “Boldest Black” theme to the streets. And for those who prefer subtlety with sophistication, the new Metallic Grey shade has joined the palette, available in Tekna, Tekna+ and N-Connecta variants.
🌍 Made in India, Loved Worldwide
Nissan’s “One Car One World” strategy seems to be hitting the right notes. The Made-in-India Magnite is now sold in over 65 countries, spanning both Right-Hand Drive and Left-Hand Drive markets. From Gurugram to Ghana, this compact SUV is becoming Nissan’s global ambassador with style.
🚀 Future Roadmap: Bigger Cars, Bigger Dreams
Not one to rest on its laurels, Nissan has laid out a bold product pipeline for India. Coming soon:
- An all-new 7-seater B-MPV,
- A 5-seater C-SUV, and
- A 7-seater C-SUV — all part of its plan to expand its portfolio and challenge the big guns.
The brand is also expanding its dealership network to 180 outlets by FY 2025-26, and 250 by FY 2026-27, ensuring customers in every corner of the country get their dose of Nissan excitement.
