Windsor & Comet Rocket MG to Record August – JSW MG Motor India Delivers 6,578 Cars, Grows 52% YoY

Gurugram: While August usually brings monsoon blues, JSW MG Motor India seems to have been busy chasing sales rainbows. The company has reported its highest monthly deliveries of 2025 with 6,578 units, marking a 52% year-on-year growth over August 2024. If this pace continues, MG showrooms might soon need traffic cops instead of sales staff.

The MG Windsor, India’s bestselling EV, wore the sales crown yet again—clocking its highest-ever monthly performance with a neat 5% bump over July. Meanwhile, the MG Comet, often called the “street-smart city slicker,” zipped ahead with a 21% growth in wholesale, proving that even tiny cars can make big waves.

Adding more fuel to its momentum, the company opened three new dealerships last month, now covering over 90% of India’s geographical footprint. With 543+ sales and service touchpoints across 270 cities, MG promises that if you can’t find their showroom nearby, you’re probably lost in the Thar Desert. Service centres have also been strategically placed within a 15 km radius—meaning your MG can now get help faster than your pizza delivery.

Festive demand, growing EV adoption, and MG’s aggressive network expansion have turned August into a blockbuster month for the brand. If Windsor keeps charming EV buyers and Comet keeps sparking joy in traffic jams, MG’s “year of growth” may just become its “decade of dominance.”
