Kinetic Green and Tonino Lamborghini Electrify the Golf Cart Game with Italian Flair

New Delhi – If you thought golf carts were just for sleepy resort paths and polite claps on the 9th hole, think again. India’s Kinetic Green and Italy’s Tonino Lamborghini just hit a design hole-in-one with the launch of their ultra-luxury electric golf and lifestyle carts, proving once and for all that mobility can—and should—come with a red shield, a raging bull, and a whole lot of swagger.

Themed “Lifestyle in Motion”, this collaboration is what happens when Indian EV engineering meets Italian style so sharp it probably has a tailor. At a high-profile unveiling graced by Union Minister Piyush Goyal and the Italian Ambassador, the two companies presented what could only be described as “Ferrari for the fairway.” Or as your resort valet might soon say, “Sir, your Lamborghini cart is waiting.”

When India Engineers and Italy Embellishes

Designed in Italy, built in India, and sold to the world, the Tonino Lamborghini Golf & Lifestyle Cart is what happens when a Formula One designer dreams about Sunday brunch on a golf course. With up to 8 seats, plush interiors, smart tech, a 150 km range, and universal driving capability (yes, left or right-hand drive at the flick of a switch), this EV cart isn’t just transportation—it’s a declaration.

And it doesn’t stop there. The Genesis Range nods to heritage with timeless Italian curves, while the Prestige Range practically winks at the future, with LED lights, wireless mobile charging, and the kind of silent performance that makes Teslas look chatty.

The Real Power Lies in the Details

Forget humble cup holders. These carts come with caddie stands, dedicated golf bag bays, smart TFT dashboards, and even foldable windshields—because, of course they do. And while most golf carts whimper on a hill, this one attacks it with 30% gradeability and the torque of 45 Nm—“Power of the Bull,” indeed.

Hydraulic brakes? Check. MacPherson suspension? Naturally. Wireless charging battery with a 10-year lifespan? Standard, darling.

But wait, there’s more. This isn’t just about golf. These carts are made for airports, corporate campuses, luxury resorts, and probably billionaires casually doing laps around their vineyards. It’s mobility for those who think standard EVs are too mainstream.

Dr. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, CEO of Kinetic Green, summed it up best: “The world’s golf carts have looked the same since the ’90s. It’s time someone gave them a red-carpet makeover—and who better than Lamborghini?”

Tonino Lamborghini’s Vice President Ferruccio Lamborghini echoed the sentiment with equal flair: “This isn’t just a cart. It’s an extension of our brand’s soul, our Italian passion—driven by Indian innovation. This is what lifestyle mobility looks like.”

The Billion-Dollar Bull Run

Set to charge into a USD 5 billion global market, Kinetic Green and Tonino Lamborghini plan to take these carts to 30 countries within five years. Manufacturing has already begun in Pune, exports will route via Mumbai, and distributors have been inked in the UAE, Maldives, Saudi Arabia and beyond.

Their target? A cool $300 million in revenue in five years. Their ambition? To make “Made in India” synonymous with global luxury EV mobility.

So the next time someone asks if Lamborghini makes golf carts, you can smile and say, “Only the most beautiful ones.”
