Fuel for Thought: Mahindra Furio 8 Dares You to Out-Mileage It — Or Return the Truck!

Mumbai: In a move that’s part bold business, part confident challenge, Mahindra Truck and Bus (MTB), a division of the Mahindra Group, has launched the all-new Mahindra Furio 8 — a Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) that’s so sure it delivers the best mileage in the business, it offers customers the option to return the truck if it doesn’t outperform their current ride. Yes, you read that right: “Mileage nahi mila toh truck wapas lo!”

Crafted at Mahindra’s cutting-edge Chakan facility, the Furio 8 doesn’t just boast brains under the hood, but brawn and backbone too. Available in 4-tyre and 6-tyre variants, it’s the first LCV in India to offer a 22 ft load body on 6 tyres, and a 20 ft body on 4 tyres, with a loading width of 7 feet — wide enough to fit your cargo and your ambitions.

Powering this profit machine is Mahindra’s in-house mDi Tech engine with Dual Mode FuelSmart technology, because why choose between performance and mileage when you can have both? And with over 400+ service touchpoints, the Furio 8 doesn’t just hit the road — it stays on it.

Speaking at the launch, Vinod Sahay, President – Trucks, Buses, CE, Aerospace & Defense, proudly declared, “We’re not just selling trucks — we’re selling a promise. If your business doesn’t earn more from the Furio 8, bring it back. We’ll take it.”

Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Business Head, MTB & CE, added, “The Furio 8 is engineered for prosperity – from lower Total Cost of Ownership to class-leading safety and comfort. It’s the truck that earns while it learns your business.”

Backing the talk are double service guarantees:

  • 36-hour workshop turnaround or ₹3,000 per delay day
  • Back-on-road in 48 hours or ₹1,000 per delay day

And just in case you like watching your truck’s every move (and who doesn’t?), Mahindra’s iMaxx telematics suite gives you real-time location tracking, vehicle health updates, driver behavior analytics, and fleet dashboards — so you can micromanage your macro profits.

So whether you’re hauling steel, snacks, or the dreams of a small-town transporter aiming for a metro skyline, the Mahindra Furio 8 says:
“Truck badlo. Taqdeer badlegi.”
Or at the very least, get better mileage doing it.
