Silicon Valley of India Gets a Spark – MG Windsor Pro Rolls Out 150 Units in Bengaluru Blitz!

Bengaluru – It wasn’t a tech conference or a startup IPO making headlines today, but a convoy of electrifying proportions — Jubilant Motorworks has delivered 150 units of the all-new MG Windsor Pro to customers in one of India’s most EV-enthusiastic cities, Bengaluru. The city that loves its gadgets just got 150 new ones… each with four wheels, a boot, and Level 2 ADAS.

Amid camera flashes, charging cables, and cappuccinos, the delivery event felt more like a red carpet gala than a typical dealership handover. According to Amit Jain, CEO of Jubilant Motorworks, “The MG Windsor has already disrupted Bengaluru’s 4W-EV market. Now with the Pro variant, we’ve added the tech, the torque, and just the right touch of futuristic flair. It’s like upgrading from filter coffee to cold brew – electrifying, but still unmistakably local!”

The MG Windsor Pro, which launched on May 6, 2025, pulled in 8,000 bookings within the first 24 hours — a figure that raised more eyebrows than a Bengaluru auto rickshaw’s fare meter. The model is offered under the “Essence Pro” variant, with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) price tag of ₹13.09 lakh + ₹4.5/km, or an ex-showroom price of ₹18.09 lakh.

With a 52.9 kWh battery, 449 km certified range, and 136 PS power, the Windsor Pro ensures you’ll outrun your morning commute, your neighbour’s envy, and most importantly, range anxiety.

MG has also gone the extra mile—literally—with Level 2 ADAS featuring 12 safety functions, and introduced Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) tech. So yes, your car can now power your phone, your laptop, and quite possibly your next weekend camping trip.

The Pro now comes in three head-turning colours — Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red — perfect for making a silent (but stylish) entrance.

As traffic lights blinked green, red, and occasionally ignored entirely, 150 proud new owners took home their electric chariots, driving not just a car, but a statement — that Bengaluru is as serious about clean air as it is about fast internet.

Move over petrolheads, the city’s gone Pro.
