Mladá Boleslav / Stockholm / Herning –
Hold on to your hockey sticks and power cables—Škoda has just fired a twin-motor slapshot straight into the electric performance SUV league with its new Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS. Unveiled amidst the ice and intensity of the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, these all-electric beasts are Škoda’s fastest charging, fastest accelerating, and most stylish attempts at convincing you that green can still mean mean.
With 250 kW of output, all-wheel drive, and a 0–100 km/h time of 5.4 seconds, these RS variants might be the only Czech things faster than their national ice hockey team on a power play. And if you’re in a rush, the 185 kW DC fast charging will top you up from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes—which is less time than it takes to explain how to pronounce “Mladá Boleslav”.

Charging Ahead, In Style
These RS models haven’t just been dipped in green paint—they come in an exclusive Mamba Green, which is either an homage to venomous snakes or a very spicy jalapeño, depending on your energy drink of choice. The exterior is all gloss black accents, aggressive bumpers, 21-inch anthracite wheels, and illuminated tech-deck faces that look like Darth Vader started designing cars.
Inside, Škoda has gone full digital meets fighter jet. You get a 13-inch infotainment screen, head-up display with augmented reality, and a massage seat that probably gives better pep talks than your gym trainer. The RS Lounge trim uses Suedia microfibre and neon-green stitching, while the RS Suite option wraps you in leather with a carbon-look dash—because obviously you’re commuting to work and the Nürburgring.
More Brains Than a PhD Student
The Enyaq RS range doesn’t just go fast—it thinks fast. The onboard tech reads like a science fiction novella: Travel Assist, Remote Park Assist via smartphone, bidirectional DC charging to power your home, and even a Walk-Away Locking feature that makes you feel like James Bond every time you leave the car.
There’s also swarm data usage for smarter driver assists, though sadly it doesn’t summon bees on your enemies. And thanks to Škoda’s Simply Clever features—USB-C ports with 45W output, Virtual Pedal boot access, and Phone Box wireless charging—you’ll be the most pampered road warrior this side of a spa.
From Octavia to Octavolt
Škoda’s RS lineage began in 2000 with the Octavia RS, but in 2025 the badge doesn’t just stand for Rally Sport—it now whispers “Recharge, Silently.” With the Enyaq RS and Coupé RS continuing Škoda’s transition into high-performance electrification, the future is looking shockingly swift.
And if the ice hockey crowd wasn’t enough of a clue, Škoda isn’t just aiming for speed—it’s going for electric glory with flair. Forget “vroom vroom”—this is “whoosh whoosh with massage mode”.
The new Enyaq RS twins are fast, furious, and fabulously futuristic. Škoda might’ve just made the EV that turns even petrolheads into plug-in purists—whether they like hockey or not.
