New Delhi — In a move that blends tradition with technology and heritage with horsepower (well, battery power), Tata EV has officially delivered its Curvv.ev SUV coupé and Tiago.ev hatchback to none other than Rashtrapati Bhavan — the official residence of the President of India. And with that, Raisina Hill just got its first electric buzz that doesn’t involve a parliamentary debate.
This landmark delivery isn’t just about adding sleek new wheels to the most prestigious driveway in the country — it’s a symbol of India’s electric future. Tata EV proudly joins the ranks of Class 1 suppliers under the Public Procurement Policy, having achieved over 50% Make in India content across its EV lineup. These vehicles aren’t just Made in India; they’re charged with the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat and powered by the pulse of Net Zero ambition.

The Curvv.ev, a sharp and elegant SUV coupé, comes with a range of 502 km, does 0 to 100 kmph in 8.6 seconds, and fast-charges in 40 minutes — which is probably faster than the paperwork it took to get it inside Rashtrapati Bhavan. Meanwhile, the Tiago.ev — the spunky, city-smart hatchback — offers a 293 km range, hits 60 kmph in just 5.7 seconds, and charges up in under an hour. It’s a bit like India’s growth story: compact, efficient, and unexpectedly quick.
Both cars are now available on the Government eMarketplace (GeM), making it easier for departments across the country to make the switch to sustainable mobility without needing a Finance Ministry miracle. With this delivery, Tata EV proves once again that going green doesn’t mean going slow — it means going smart.
Rooted in India, made for India, and now proudly gliding across the historic lanes of Raisina Hill, these EVs are not just moving machines — they’re moving the country forward.
