In a bold move to celebrate its racing pedigree, Bugatti has unveiled the exclusive ‘Équipe Pur Sang’ package for its latest hyper sports car, the Tourbillon. This visually striking option is available as the first wave of Tourbillon customers commence their bespoke configuration process at Bugatti’s historic home in Molsheim and partner dealerships worldwide.
Honoring Motorsport Legacy with the Équipe Pur Sang Option
The Équipe Pur Sang package draws its name from Bugatti’s historic racing division, known for its dominant presence on the global motorsport stage. Translating to ‘Thoroughbred Team,’ this package elevates the Tourbillon’s design and performance with distinctive elements inspired by Bugatti’s rich racing heritage.
Enhanced aerodynamics define the Équipe Pur Sang specification, with a bespoke front splitter and tailored rear wing featuring endplates to maximize aero efficiency. The carbon fiber engine cover inlays flow seamlessly into a custom-designed eight-pipe exhaust system and specialized rear diffuser, improving downforce and refining the Tourbillon’s aggressive stance.
Unique directional wheels further distinguish the package. These lightweight rims, featuring 20-inch fronts and 21-inch rears, boast asymmetrical designs for optimized airflow and enhanced cooling of the rear radiator by up to 8%.
A Racing-Inspired Interior
Inside, the Équipe Pur Sang theme extends to intricate embroidery on the dashboard and headrests, alongside Black Poli interior trim and a Medium Carbon Fiber Interior Package. The cabin’s blend of Alcantara upholstery and carbon accents creates a space that balances luxury with performance.
For added functionality, the Performance Seat option is included as standard, offering enhanced lateral support for high-G cornering while maintaining a sophisticated aesthetic.
Bespoke Configuration: Tailored to the Customer’s Vision
Tourbillon buyers are invited to personalize their vehicles in a deeply immersive co-creation process at Bugatti’s Château Saint Jean in Molsheim or through exclusive sessions with Bugatti’s global retail partners. Customers are guided through endless customization options, including 23 new exterior colors, 20 leather choices, 10 Alcantara shades, and 7 carpet colors. Even the instrument cluster receives individualized detailing, crafted to Swiss watchmaking precision standards.

Engineering Excellence at the Heart of the Tourbillon
The Bugatti Tourbillon combines a powerful 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine producing 1,000 hp with three electric motors that contribute an additional 800 hp. This hybrid system achieves staggering performance while remaining lighter than its predecessor, thanks to a T800 carbon composite chassis featuring integrated battery structures and a crash-composite rear diffuser inspired by top-level motorsport.
Limited to just 250 units, each starting at €3.8 million, the Bugatti Tourbillon transcends contemporary automotive engineering to stand as a hyper sports car designed truly “Pour l’Éternité” – for eternity.
