New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the nation’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, has revealed its transformative blueprint for the future of electric mobility—dubbed ‘e For Me’. This ambitious plan aims to reshape India’s automotive landscape by integrating electric vehicles (EVs), cutting-edge technology, and an all-encompassing charging infrastructure.
A Dual-Powered Strategy for India’s Electric Future
The ‘e For Me’ vision revolves around two central pillars:
1. Electric Products: Leading the charge is the e VITARA, Maruti Suzuki’s first-ever eBorn SUV, marking a significant leap into electric mobility. Designed specifically for Indian customers, the e VITARA signals the company’s commitment to bringing world-class electric vehicles to India’s roads.
2. Electric Ecosystem: Alongside EV production, Maruti Suzuki is establishing a robust ecosystem to support the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. This includes infrastructure development and customer-centric solutions designed to ensure a seamless transition to electric mobility.
Driving the Shift with Customer-Centric Innovation
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing & Sales at MSIL, expressed, “The ‘e For Me’ vision is not just about launching vehicles; it’s about creating an entire ecosystem that simplifies the EV experience for every Indian. Our approach integrates advanced technology, customer-focused solutions, and a commitment to sustainability. We are redefining mobility in India, and we’re excited to showcase this transformation at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.”
Maruti Suzuki’s efforts will culminate in the unveiling of the e VITARA at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Show 2025. Visitors will have the chance to explore the brand’s extensive EV showcase, including the eBorn SUV and other flagship models such as the Dzire, Swift, Invicto, Jimny, and Grand Vitara.
With this unveiling, Maruti Suzuki underscores its role in shaping India’s future as a hub for electric vehicles, not just domestically, but on the global stage.
