UK-based Supercar Enthusiast Shares Heartwarming Moment with His Mother Behind the Wheel of a Lamborghini
In a delightful twist on supercar adventures, UK-based automotive collector Bodhi Sattwa, known on Instagram as @zencardriver, recently shared a post that captured hearts and imaginations worldwide. The star of the post? His 83-year-old mother, confidently test-driving his new Lamborghini Revuelto, a supercar priced at an eye-watering INR 10 crore in India.
The Lamborghini Revuelto, painted in a striking Blu Uranus color, was delivered to Bodhi in November. Not one to keep the fun to himself, Bodhi handed over the driver’s seat to his mother, a seasoned car enthusiast in her own right, with experience piloting a Mercedes-AMG GLC 43.
In his post, Bodhi wrote:
“Some of you may know that my 83-year-old mother has been my inspiration to be adventurous in life, and she has driven every supercar I have had. Today was her turn in the Lamborghini Revuelto. She loved it! Her review: very easy to drive, feather-like throttle makes it super responsive, lovely exhaust noise, insane acceleration. It’s probably taken her top spot over the Huracan Performante Spyder, which she absolutely loved.”
He added a touch of humor, proposing a new slogan for Lamborghini:
“So good your 80+ year-old mum can drive it in a saree!”
The post sparked a flood of comments from admirers, with one user, @cookiemonster4158, reminiscing:
“Can’t tell you, zencardriver, how much I love this post! Back when I used to drive a modified BMW that was front cover, my mum used to pop to the shops in it. Love this!”
Other followers chimed in with praise, calling the moment “legendary,” “inspiring,” and “pure goals.”
A Collector’s Dream Garage
Bodhi’s love for supercars is evident in his enviable collection, which includes marvels like the Brabus 900 Rocket Edition, Ferrari SF90 Spider, McLaren 765LTS, and Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster, among others. Yet, the Revuelto holds a special place as Lamborghini’s first true plug-in hybrid model.
The Revuelto, unveiled in March 2023, combines a roaring 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric motors, delivering an astonishing 1001 horsepower. With a top speed exceeding 350 km/h and a carbon-fiber monocoque for enhanced agility, it represents the pinnacle of Lamborghini engineering.
Driving into Hearts
For Bodhi, the joy of sharing his passion with his mother has made his collection all the more meaningful. As he cheekily asks his followers, “What should she drive next?” we’re left wondering how this remarkable family will top this unforgettable experience.
