Mumbai – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), a prominent name in India’s automotive industry, reported a robust performance in November 2024, with total vehicle sales reaching 79,083 units, including exports. This marks another milestone for the company as it continues to strengthen its market presence.
The Utility Vehicles (UV) segment was the highlight of the month, achieving domestic sales of 46,222 units, reflecting an impressive 16% year-on-year growth. Including exports, the UV segment clocked a total of 47,294 units. The Commercial Vehicles (CV) division contributed significantly as well, with domestic sales standing at 22,042 units.
Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., expressed enthusiasm about the company’s performance and recent product innovations. “This month, we sold 46,222 SUVs, marking a 16% growth. Our total sales, including exports, reached 79,083 units. November also witnessed the launch of our eagerly awaited Electric Origin SUVs—the BE6e and XEV9e. These vehicles, powered by the revolutionary INGLO electric architecture and MAIA, the fastest automotive intelligence system globally, are a testament to Mahindra’s vision of ‘Unlimit India,’ redefining global automotive standards.”
Nakra added that the phased rollout for these Electric Origin SUVs is set to begin in January 2025, with deliveries expected by late February or early March.
As Mahindra gears up for a strong start to 2025, the November sales figures underscore the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, setting the stage for future growth in the evolving automotive landscape.
