Ahmedabad: Tata Motors, India’s leading commercial vehicle giant, has kickstarted the delivery of its Tata Prima 5530.S LNG-powered trucks to Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd, a prominent player in green fuel distribution and logistics. This move marks a milestone in Tata Motors’ commitment to sustainable transport solutions, with the first set of trucks handed over at a ceremonial event in Ahmedabad. This initial batch is part of an order of 150 LNG trucks, which will be delivered in phases.
In a significant expansion of this partnership, Tata Motors and Clean Green Fuel have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding for an additional 350 Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks. This extended order reaffirms both companies’ dedication to building greener logistics infrastructure in India.

The Tata Prima 5530.S LNG, equipped with a Cummins 6.7L gas engine, generates 280 horsepower and 1100Nm of torque, providing robust performance for demanding logistics routes. Designed for long-haul and surface transport, the Prima series includes features like Gear Shift Advisor to maximize fuel economy and reduce operational costs. The trucks offer single and dual cryogenic fuel tank options, with the dual configuration extending the range to over 1000 kilometers, enhancing efficiency for long-distance logistics.
Furthermore, Fleet Edge, Tata Motors’ connected vehicle platform, offers real-time fleet management, boosting vehicle uptime and reducing ownership costs.
