Breaking New Ground: Euler Motors Launches India’s First ADAS-Equipped Electric Cargo LCV – Storm EV

A Revolution on Wheels: New Electric Light Commercial Vehicles Poised to Reshape Intercity and Intracity Cargo Transport

New Delhi – In a bold move that sets the stage for the future of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in India, Euler Motors has launched its much-anticipated Storm EV models, designed specifically to revolutionize cargo transport. With its state-of-the-art features, the Storm EV is India’s first 4-wheeler LCV to come equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), and boasts two models tailored for intercity and intracity use – the Storm EV LongRange 200 and the Storm EV T1250. These electric vehicles (EVs) not only promise groundbreaking technology but also unparalleled range and cargo capacity, setting a new benchmark in the commercial EV segment.

Driving the Future of Cargo Transport: Two Models, Two Missions

Euler Motors has introduced two distinct versions of the Storm EV to cater to different cargo transport needs. The Storm EV LongRange 200, designed for intercity hauls, offers an impressive 200 km real-world range, making it ideal for routes like Delhi-Jaipur or Chennai-Vellore. On the other hand, the Storm EV T1250, developed for intracity use, provides a more compact solution with a 140 km range, perfect for dense urban logistics.

Both models carry a robust 1250 kg payload capacity, promising heavy-duty performance that doesn’t compromise on range or speed. This combination of durability and efficiency positions the Storm EV series as a viable alternative to internal combustion engine (ICE) LCVs, especially in sectors demanding reliable, sustainable transportation.

Setting New Standards in the LCV Segment: 11 First-Ever Features

Beyond ADAS, Euler Motors has packed its Storm EV models with 11 cutting-edge features that have never before been seen in India’s LCV segment. From liquid-cooled batteries to enhanced safety mechanisms, these vehicles bring forward-thinking innovation to the forefront. The liquid-cooled battery, powered by the proprietary ArcReactor™ 200 technology, ensures that the vehicle delivers peak performance regardless of weather conditions, while extending the battery’s lifespan.

Another first is the 8-leaf rear suspension, designed to offer smooth and stable cargo transport, even with a fully loaded vehicle. These advanced features ensure that drivers and cargo remain safe and secure, whether navigating congested city streets or cruising along highways.

ADAS for the First Time in India’s LCV Segment

Euler Motors has introduced ADAS to the LCV market, marking a significant leap in driver assistance technology for commercial vehicles. The Night Vision Assist (NVA) system allows drivers to safely extend their working hours by offering a clear view of obstacles even in pitch darkness. This is coupled with front and reverse camera collision alert sensors, which enhance driver awareness by providing real-time warnings about potential dangers, ensuring safer journeys for both cargo and driver.

Storm EV LongRange 200: Powering Intercity Transport

The Storm EV LongRange 200 is tailor-made for intercity logistics, with an extensive range of 200 km on a single charge, made possible by its robust 30kWh battery. The vehicle also supports CCS fast charging, which enables drivers to add up to 100 km of range in just 15 minutes – a crucial feature for long-haul routes where downtime can affect profitability.

In addition, the 10-foot cargo bed and 330 cubic feet of volumetric capacity make the Storm EV LongRange 200 an efficient solution for transporting large or bulky loads, further enhancing its suitability for intercity transport.

Storm EV T1250: Redefining Urban Logistics

For businesses operating within cities, the Storm EV T1250 provides an optimal solution with its 140 km range, compact 8.2-foot body length, and up to 260 cubic feet of cargo volume. Available in two variants – one for regular loads and one with a reinforced 4 mm armoured chassis for dense loads – this model is designed to navigate congested city streets with ease. The T1250’s fast-charging capability (100 km in 30 minutes) ensures minimal downtime, which is crucial for high-demand urban logistics.

Built for Indian Roads: Superior Safety and Comfort

Safety is a central focus for Euler Motors, and the Storm EV series does not disappoint. Both models are equipped with the Shepherd App, a segment-first feature that allows fleet managers to track vehicle location, book nearby charging stations, and receive maintenance alerts in real-time. The digital lock system and anti-theft immobilizer provide added security, reducing the risk of cargo theft or vehicle misuse.

Additionally, Euler Motors has introduced an all-terrain braking system, which includes disc and drum brakes, a load-sensing proportional valve for optimized brake force, and regenerative braking that captures energy to recharge the battery. Drivers also benefit from vacuum-assisted power brakes and electronic power steering, making driving both safer and more comfortable, even on rough terrain or during challenging weather conditions.

Driver-Centric Innovations: Infotainment and Comfort

Euler Motors has not forgotten the human element. The Chimera Infotainment System, with its immersive in-cabin experience, offers real-time navigation, alerts, and even entertainment via a 7- or 10-inch display. For the first time, drivers can enjoy seamless access to navigation tools and even communicate via WhatsApp, thanks to integrated maps. As an introductory offer, Euler Motors is providing 1GB of free data per day for each connected vehicle.

The Storm EV LongRange 200 also comes with air conditioning – a rare luxury in commercial vehicles – ensuring that drivers remain comfortable on long trips.

Affordability Meets Innovation

Despite the extensive list of features, both Storm EV models are priced competitively to make EV adoption feasible for businesses of all sizes. The Storm EV LongRange 200 is priced at ₹12.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the Storm EV T1250 is available at ₹8.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Additionally, Euler Motors is offering an industry-first extended warranty of 7 years or 200,000 km, providing customers with long-term peace of mind.

With the launch of the Storm EV series, Euler Motors is positioning itself as a game-changer in India’s LCV market. By offering cutting-edge technology, enhanced safety features, and competitive pricing, the company is paving the way for a cleaner, more efficient future for cargo transport in India. As businesses seek to lower operational costs and reduce their carbon footprints, the Storm EV models stand out as a compelling solution, driving the electric revolution forward.

The future of cargo transportation has arrived, and it’s electric.
